Has anyone tried to contact Ember, or invite her to bearchive?  I guess this may be hard to do if you have to go through the suicidegirls webmaster to message her.

Whenever anyone posts something like this... it makes me nervous.

Have you considered that by 'inviting' her here you would be drawing attention to the fact that you and other users have posted her copyrighted property here, possibly without her consent? Have you considered that in do doing you would potentially be inviting unwanted attention upon the BEarchive and it's Owner?

Look, let's all be adults here... we're VERY lucky that some models are a part of our community and frequent the forums. However, most models who have their own paysites (or work at paysites, like Ember does at Suicide Girls) are doing so in order to earn an income. Thus, it makes sense for them to use their finite time to interact with their fans AT their paysites, rather than places like here, where they receive no compensation for their time.

I understand and agree with your enthusiasm for Ember... I think she's literally the cat's meow myself. With that said, if you like her so much, why don't you just go enjoy her and reward her for her efforts by subscribing to Suicide Girls, where you can interact with her as much as she's willing. In so doing, you'll be encouraging her to do what she does so well (model) AND you'll avoid attracting undue attention to our little corner of the internet right here.

My intention was not to get anyone in trouble at all.  I see your point.  Some models might not want their material to be distributed for free.  On the other hand, by posting pics on Bearchive, it's free advertising for the model.  Ember is a perfect example... I never would have known about her had I not seen this thread.  I still don't know whether or not I'll subscribe to her website. But if I do, it will be entirely do to her exposure on Bearchive.

The 'free advertising' rationale has been suggested hundreds of times... and each time, it's just one person's OPINION... it provides ZERO protection from liability incurred by the BEA Owner. Some models may agree (to reasonable use of their material) but many models (and copyright holders/content owners) DEFINITELY do not... witness our current list of prohibited models/sources as evidence: EACH of those rules exists due to a model/copyright holder NOT regarding posts of their stuff here as 'free advertising' ...they actually regarded it as clear misuse and as a result, each new rule got added to the list in turn.

By attracting the wrong sort of attention to our community, it's edged just a bit closer to the day where we log in only to find it gone. Let's all just enjoy what we have, participate within the rules AND (JUST as importantly) common sense/discretion, and keep it going as long as well can. Thanks.

She's a very hot lady, and I love the goth aspect. Yet I feel inclined to point out that some of her pics are CLEARLY airbrushed, which to me seem hypocritical of the whole Suicide Girls gimmick.

I thought they were like anti-Playboy, model chics... You know, real girls with flaws, yet they polish their skin up til it's bright, shiny and fake? Silly.
