Could this be a Tipping Point? The story has been picked up by Fox LA as well as USA today and a number of news services. Next come the bloggers and the TV newsmagazines searching Crystal's past and if you're searching Crystal you'll most likely find Chelsea's block-busters blocking out most of the frame. I say we recruit Chelsea for a protest, stretch one of her bras across the NJ Turnpike and block traffic until this harassment ends.

What a society we live in ridculous that people are all upset about this issue. Crystal is doing what she enjoys,doing a good job yet people want her fired.How is it that people at the school stumbled upon finding out about Crystal's past? If Crystal didn't get her implants removed I can imagine others being suspicious but if she did then huh? Is it every pretty girl that walks through the doors to get hired all of the sudden people wonder about her past?

Just maybe Crystal wants to do something else with her life that makes her happy yet the people at the school are dicriminating her because of being a stripper.I guess thats taboo in this society yet people want to hold it against you if you try to change your future.Whats the old saying those without sin cast the first stone,like none of these people have ever did anything questionable in their life.
Besides, the past is the past since she is doing a good job thats all that really counts.Trying to stamp someone as a bad person because there a stripper is like the 1700's when people were accused of witches yet probably were just smarter than regular people healing people.

In a nation where a black person just became president you would think people would grow up and consider all aspects of a person.In the article it even said she might be one of the best teacher aides they have had. Its not like she is a mass mudrerer or a robber give this girl a break,people change thats part of life.

So she didn't even do anything illegal and they imply she is tainted person that should not be around our [censored]! What a load of crap! If they liked her in an interview and her background check was fine. And they fingerprint as well, then what's the issue?

This reminds me of other crap teachers get for having a life outside of teaching. I wish her the best. She apparently has moved on with her life, why can't everyone else that has an issue with this. I hate the news!

I just saw a TV report on the situation on Fox News - replaying the local report. They never described her as a model, only "porn star". That's sad for her to be described this way even though she did one TF video. The still picture they keep using is just horrible - caught her with an odd expression and bad make-up. She's waaaay hotter than that - a curvy little sex-bomb.

Hypocrites rule this society. Whoever "discovered" her should be called out for being a consumer of adult-material. But no - the scorn goes to the talent.

And why does someone have to "change"? Can't someone be an adult model and hold a so-called legitimate job on the side?

Before anyone strokes out, please note that both the school district attorney and the school board's attorney have opined that she should keep her job, and this crap shouldn't affect it.

I also note that the school superintendent and the president of the school board expressed a desire to fire her. No porn for you guys, ever again!

Finally, some brave soul had to do the research to discover hundreds of Google entries for "Crystal Gunns". Then that brave soul had to check those sites, just to make sure. It must have taken HOURS of work!

The Vineland Board of Education president is A Big Fat Idiot. Was she conducting orgies in the classroom? Was she coming to school in G-strings, or topless? Was she pimping? No? Then WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU BOTHERED WITH WHAT SHE USED TO DO FOR A LIVING?

Why stop there? When I was in high school, our music teacher used to moonlight in the summers as a roadie for the Grateful Dead. Should my high school have canned him?

This is absurd. I hope she sues the pants off them for harassment. And before you ask: if my kid was in that school district and I heard that one of the teacher's aides used to be (operative phrase being "USED to be") in the business of making videos of her extremely large bust, I wouldn't bat an eye. Truly. And not just because I probably would have been a consumer of those videos, but because IT IS NOT RELEVANT and does NOT impact on the quality of her current job performance.

I can see that you're very passionate about this issue. But stop acting like Crystal is an innocent angel. If Crystal was in any other line of work, I could see the issue and I'd probably be on your side. But she is working with other people's offspring in an educational setting. And people like that are held at a higher accountability, like it or not.

Comparing your music teacher being a roadie for the Grateful Dead to this is apples and oranges. Being a roadie - especially when you're a music teacher - gives you real life applications to being a music teacher.

To be honest, if I was a parent, and for all you know, I might be - I would feel very uncomfortable with an honest to god adult entertainer working closely with my offspring. Granted, what Crystal's done is very tame as opposed to, say Ava Devine - but the parents of the offspring involved aren't going to research her body of work to see what the deal is.

You can't mix a porn career and working with other people's offspring. It just doesn't work.

That's the problem; Crystal was still running a member's site and working with offspring. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

She may have retired as an active on-video performer, but if she was still making money as a porn-star, that could be a major conflict of interest.

Her bringing Obama into this was weak, especially getting her facts wrong; Obama admitted using coke, not crack, and deflecting blame on other people's misdeeds makes her look worse.

Get a lawyer, and shut up.

Not sure if she's a union member, but there's no way they can fire her for doing something that is perfectly legal. I'm surprised someone who frequents this site finds that a like-minded person would be unfit to work with youth. Why, exactly? So she showed her boobs on video and the internet; why is that grounds for dismissal? Why is our society so hung up on sex and nudity? Would she be in the same trouble if she had done horror films which depicted torture and violence? Doubt it--but which is the greater threat to our schools?

gmantwo your questions are right on, what is a greater threat in our schools? My mother and I work in the education field and violence is what concerns me more in schools then worrying about someone who shows her boobs. I worry everyday that my niece and nephew, I'm helping raising them, whenever they go to school I pray that they are safe and that they do well in school. I don't get why parents are making a big deal about someone who used to work in the adult industry, instead of violence and bullying which should be dealt with and addressed more in public schools. Pure paranoia!
