Here is the full size of what they used to make the poster.  Some kind of ink-blot appeared on her ribs during the finishing process (it is definitely not a natural blemish, as the rest of her pictures that day all showed her skin to be smooth and creamy), but they got that edited out to make the poster.

It's probably just dust on the paper or some other contamination. Just reprinting it should have fixed it unless the negative was damaged.
