Burgies with "Now You Has Jazz: Louis Armstrong at MGM" ...the title reminded me of a caption you'd see in an online photo of a kitten sitting in a saxophone or something.

Tonight I made Chicken Milano ( http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/My-Chicken-Milano/Detail.aspx ) with parmesian bowls for salad.

I hadn't planned on making anything at all tonight (and thus couldn't answer the question when Shara asked this morning) and was going to rely on a very decent leftover pasta in the fridge (with Trader Joe turkey meatballs) but on getting home from a quick trip to downtown, I was hungry and decided to cook.

What I wound up with was grilled teriyaki chicken with marinated Shishito peppers (from my garden minutes earlier) over rice noodles with carmelized red onions:

Dropped $5 at Subway - not the best, but it filled a need.

We're going to see a movie tonight, and it's tradition to eat at A&W before going.  Love them Teenburgers & Root Beer shakes!   ;D

I apologize in advance if I post duplicate pictures in any of the picture threads I deal in.  My MO in getting pictures of one girl is to rip her Instagram.  That ends up with me having up to 2000 pics of her.  I've tried almost half a dozen duplicate finder programs, and none of them find all of the duplicates I inevitably end up with.

One whole chicken, cooked earlier and then deboned sans knife (thus shreds not chunks).
Assorted veg (some straight from the garden): broccoli (nuked first for 2 mins), various small squashes, white eggplants, peppers, mushrooms and a red onion (all large dice) and tossed with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper.

Grill all of the above (a grill pan makes it possible with minimal losses) till the veg begin to caramelize then add the chicken at the end just to heat it through.

Toss it all into a pound of Barilla Rotini (cooked very al dente and lightly buttered).

Eat. If you can stop at just one bowl you're a better person than I. :) Prepared and served with TJ lager(s) and lime and Paul Westerberg CDs.

Dropped $6 for a Domino's medium 2 topping pizza. Wasn't bad at all and I'm watching my beloved Cowboys kick the shit of the Bengals 16 - 0 with 6 minutes to go on the game. Thank God Football season is finally begining even if it just a pre-season game.  :)

Tonight I broiled chicken breast, made some rice, and added fried chard. It's about the only meal I make that the daughter will eat.
