No problem.  I got bored and went looking for some classic threads and found this one.  Seemed interesting so I posted to it and bumped it back up.

Tonight I made baby back ribs with my own barbecue sauce and maple cured baked beans.  Quite tasty!

Another late afternoon BBQ on the deck (I STILL haven't installed the new stove yet). Teriyaki extra-firm tofu steaks grilled crisp and slightly caremlized on the exterior, still pale and creamy inside as I cut them pretty thick and used my fish-grilling rack thingy to keep them in one piece when flipping sides. Also some baby carrots in a light sauce, brown rice (organic from trader joe's) with red lentils poured over it. Would have made a small salad but didn't have any greens in the house and couldn't bear the though of traffic.

I stopped by McDonalds for the first time in a few months last night. Great fries and lousy burger. But I was famished and ate it anyway.

I've been dying for cheescake or chocolate mouse cake with coffee tonight, but again the mere thought of going out fills me with dread. The older I get the more the life of a recluse seems to hold a certain appeal. I am hankering for something sweet though and all that I have in the house is pre-sweetened iced coffee and granola bars.... not quite what the sweet-tooth wants.

TV sucks tonight, and I feel like I've pretty much exhausted thread-life (hence my post again here after starting this thread almost a year ago).

Grilled bratwurst, garden fresh green beans, a red delicious apple, and a tall glass of iced tea with mint.

Anybody else have The Core on DVD?
In one of the deleted scenes, Rat, the hacker gives Alfre Woodard a Hot Pocket. She takes a bite then immediately starts looking for somewhere to spit it out.

Marinated chicken with texas toast and salad.  Nothing fancy about that.

(I had bacon bits on the salad...woohoo!)

I had home made vegetable soup!

My sister-in-law is a pretty good cook.

Too bad she gives me Hell 24/7 when I'm around her!

YES! Dunno what, but I'm eating tonight!

The downside is I'm home. Please. Someone kill me slowly.
