I manually adjusted the exposure of the sweater with a layer mask and left the darkest shadows alone for emphasis. I also reduced the color noise to even out the tones, but besides the upscaling I left all the proportions the same.

I fooled with the contrast on that black sweater picture and came to the same conclusion, but wakursa's adjustments tell the tale in a picture worth keeping. Thanks!

Man, I sure wish Nancy would take up modeling -- discreet, modest, cheesecake pictures, like early Kathi Somers. Waiting for good new pictures of her is just painful.
