No idea who exactly you're directing your comment towards, but in case you weren't aware, when something's posted generally/publicly online, about TWO AND A HALF BILLION people can respond to it if they choose to do so. So you might note that your scorn really should be directed to about a third of Earth's population, and not just us "guys" here, most of whom have demonstrated their respectful behavior regarding Ms. Quill.

No apology necessary... I know it sounded like it, but I wasn't really directing snark at you personally. If I have any snark to direct, it'd be (of course) at rude f@cks who talk sh!t towards women who post online, causing some women to reduce their posting, but (yes, sadly/realistically) also towards anyone who posts pix of themselves online and naively expects NOT to have to deal with some rude f@cks. Even if 1/1,000th of 1% of 2.4 billion internet users look at a post, and if just 1% of THEM bother to post an unpleasant comment, that's still a LOT of unpleasant comments that even the most photogenic person is going to have to deal with. It's beyond foolish (IMO) to post in public (i.e.: most all posting, including everything posted on any social media site no matter the privacy settings) and delude oneself into thinking all that you're ever going to get is praise.

Well, technically one might say it was praise, just not the kind she might want on her official public fan page that her friends, family, and co-workers can see. Might've be foolish on her part not to expect that, maybe just optimistic, but the end result is that she deleted her pics and is less likely to make similar posts in the future thanks to these inappropriate comments.

Mod edit: that's all true of course, but there's nothing you nor I nor Nancy herself can do about any of it. I just think it's silly to expect to post pix and not get some negative responses, especially if what you're posting is even one iota outside of the generic/lowest-common-denominator/mainstream ideals of beauty/normalcy/appropriateness. -Pal

Hey Guys, the real point is... that Nancy posted cool pics that we, in this community enjoy seeing... If one of us makes a comment on her FB page, it brings attention to the picture/posting... Nancy, her coworkers, husband etc are likely to talk about...and if the talk about the comment is outside of "Nancy's social norms", the picture might be removed in order to maintain her "social norms".

Long story short... If you like her pics... Keep you mouth shut, and simply enjoy.  If you wish to make comments... Make them here in the BEA... not on her Fac@book page... Idoit!

I hope Nancy continues to carry herself with pride and contentment despite a few lewd comments, and maybe even posts some pictures that manifest her exquisite form. She does still have the red tanktop pic on her Twitter at least (with some colourful comments ).
