Hi everyone --
Just wanted to drop in a quick line to say a big "thank you" to you all for the incredible accolades about Rachel. The past 24 hours have been overwhelming to say the least, and Rachel is incredibly flattered. To be honest, I wish we could take more credit for this, but the truth is that all the props go Rachel, because SHE was the one who contacted us initially, believe it or not.
After her debut in the U.K. papers a couple of years ago, she got (as you can imagine) overwhelmed with requests and calls and people waving money at her to pose topless, etc. but she said "no" to all of them because, if she was going to do it, she wanted to do it on HER OWN terms, not someone else's. I can't tell you how proud of her I am personally that she has such a good head on her shoulders.
Like a lot of people who saw that newspaper photo of her, we had her on our "wish list" and she remained on it for almost a year, but we never deemed it realistic because of a host of factors, not the least of which is that we really had no way to get in touch with her personally.
Well, it's funny how life works out sometimes, because one day, out of the blue, we got an email... and it was Rachel. She liked our style and they way we did our photos, and said that she wanted us to be the first place she shot with. Needless to say, we were flabbergasted. I couldn't believe it was her. In fact, I thought maybe it was a joke at first until she sent us a slew of test shots she had done in a studio, and then we knew it was for real. That was over a year ago.
Anyway, long story short is we've been working with her for nearly a year solid now, traveling to the U.K. and planning for this. We will also be working very closely with Rachel in the future, serving as managers for her, helping to guide her career, find other avenues in which to pose and work, and keep her on the right track. Rachel is very smart, knows what she wants to do (and what she doesn't want to do) and has specific goals and we are humbled and honored to be helping her with this.
The plan is to have Rachel open her own site that she can own and control and interact with her fans on a regular basis. That will be a little ways down the line, but in the meantime, Rachel will appear regularly on PinupFiles and PinupGlam and we will also see what we can do about getting her to post in here and reach out to her fans in the meantime.
