Added MUCH later: see? This is why it's important to include ATTACHED caps with IDQ posts... which may be up for years before they're "SOLVED" if the subjects are obscure. During that passage of time, links to external sites often expire, are broken or the content is deleted... all of which renders your ID reQuest in OUR forum moot (and a waste of space) since no one can SEE who you're asking about.
I can't speak for Windows (in which there are surely dozens of ways to cap an image from the screen to a JPEG) but in Mac, the built-in OS cap has been the same since 1984: Option-Command-3 or 4, and in Linux I use a little utility simply called "Take Screenshot" PLEASE DO THIS in future requests so we don't wind up with yet another 'dead' ID reQuest cluttering up our forum.
