personally, I shy away from "extreme implants" (not extreme size, just extreme implants, they just look very 'uncomfortable' to me, to put it mildly) so i don't usually follow chelsea charms, or PBD, etc.

But I like your morph work very much

The truism that people should only post/create/share because it gives THEM pleasure or satisfaction to do so, regardless of how much/any potential feedback they might receive later, is far older than the internet itself of course.

I don't even know what you mean by 'ratings' and almost never get to the galleries... that doesn't mean I'm not a fan of your work. I see what gets posted in the forum and I respond either by posting or PM when moved to do so. However, the VAST majority of users NEVER respond or post at all... that's just reality. A lack of feedback is therefore to be expected, not bemoaned. Which is why I'm always shocked at the naivete of users who are surprised and complain when X number of people have viewed their post yet none bothered to reply (as happens in the forum a few times a month) ...that's simply how it is and to express surprised/disappointment about it is to advertise a lack of understanding about human nature/how the world works IMO.

Trust that people enjoy what you share, even if only a tiny fraction actually say so.

I'd like to add (if I may, Pal ), that if you have one vocal fan, let alone two or three, you're doing very well.

I've come to appreciate this as a pornographer -- that is to say, writing text.  I have to say, compared to all of you who provide pictures, we text writers are masochists.  We live in silence, and even when we do hear from someone, someone would rather nitpick than show us any love.

I have only gradually learned over the years that it's a matter of statistics.  If one person says "I like it," you probably have many more fans, but for some reason they never speak up.

Recently you have won praise from me, Djoser, Bad Kitty, and Palomine.  You, sir, are on fire.  Fuck the whole "ratings" business.  Really, just fuck it, forget it.  I refuse to feel sorry for you.  You are The Man, sir.  Never doubt or forget that.  

Mod edit to agree with everything Druul said above (of course)... and to add that I (and perhaps some other users too) probably send out more PMs to say 'thanks' for their posts/work/time/effort than I make public posts (even with my stupid-large post count). I.e.: I'll just jot off a PM of appreciation at least as often as I'll hit 'reply' in a thread to say thanks there. I'm probably not alone in this habit. -Pal

But: how can I "trust that people enjoy" what I share when they are not saying it?  Of course I am not expecting 100s of replys, but it is question of compare: when I am getting only 4 replys average 7 points and others are getting 7-10 replys average 9½ points, clear they think my work not so good as others.  I would be very pleased at comments whit critic of my work, not so much to be ignored.

First, that's a great morph and second, I'm not familiar with that model, so thanks for that too.

More to the point: the 'trust that people enjoy' thing must to some extent be taken on faith... not always an easy thing I know. As Druul points out, given the realities of the internet, each user that does take the time to reply/comment/vote almost certainly represents 9+ other users who feel the same way but for whatever reason (ok, I'll say it: they're lazy) don't bother to say so. But as I said before, this fact is (or should be) moot: you ought to try/be able to take pleasure and satisfaction from the doing/sharing even without any feedback at all/ever... IMO, that's the ONLY way to persist in the long-run. When you get some feedback, it's a bonus, but when you don't it's just the norm (and nothing to get bummed about because it IS the norm). Of course, this policy applies to ALL kinds of sharing/posting: not just morphs but fakes, and stories and art and self-shot photos and even just regular forum posts... if I got blue every time some intricate forum post that I labored over didn't get much/any response, I'd have given up here long ago. But I know that not replying is the normal state of things (given human nature) so the deafening silence is absolutely nothing to be concerned about. So, I usually manage not to.

By way of an example: the post I made on July 9, 2011 in response to user Omega72 seeking advice about the depressing state of his love life: http://forum.bearchive.com/index.php/topic,9984697.0.html ...garnered just about zero feedback from this user or anybody else. It probably took me the better part of a couple hours to write my reply and find/embed all the linked references. AND every single reference was the name of a song by a particular band (that I was listening to while writing the reply). Yet I didn't get so much as an acknowledgement for the effort... though I was 100% sincere, perhaps Omega didn't take my post seriously (as advice/feebdack) because of the links... I dunno. As of today, I've made 19,265 posts in this forum since the last big crash wiped everything out, and that post of mine is one of my personal bests (IMO) but it elicited nary a whimper. This illustrates my original point: I went to the effort (and still do, pretty much on a daily basis) because there's some satisfaction in the doing itself. Sure, everyone likes an attaboy, but if life were fair, I'd be balls-deep inside of my wife Chloe Vevrier at this very moment instead of typing this reply to you.

As for that ratings thing... again, I dunno what that's about (I guess there's a rating/ranking/voting system in the galleries) and everything I said before applies: people often don't bother to vote/reply/comment even if they like something. And as far as you comparing yourself to other morphers' ratings I think that's a bit of a dubious undertaking. For one thing, some of our other talented morphers are very prolific... they make a LOT of morphs every week (in some cases, every day!). Thus, their images are going to inevitably get more exposure/feedback/votes than those of less prolific (but not necessarily any less talented) morphers ...that's just logical. And that doesn't even take into account other variables that could have impact: model choices, size preferences, hardcore vs softcore, etc... essentially ANY of these criteria could affect the quantity/nature of feedback, though I'd wager the scale of output is a primary factor.

Besides, it's not a popularity contest.

Again (and sorry to repeat myself) these realities should alleviate whatever anxiety/disappointment you might feel about little/no feedback or ratings... at least, I hope it does. I always (often wrongly) assume that everyone who posts ANYthing knows all this stuff already and that they post anyway for whatever pleasure it gives them to do so sans feedback.

I go a long ways back on this site - must be close to 15 years, and I'm siding with what Palomine said.
The creation of the morph, the cartoon , the sexy story, or the film review generally comes from our own inspiration. Surely we know this is the fact
because before we began to worry about ratings, or comments, or page hits - we had to sit down and create something. And the fact that we continue
to create, is a strong indicator that we enjoy the work.

While I don't do anything creative around the BEA any more, I am still around. And I am still creative as I have been doing a blog on Wordpress for a number of years. But I still come here often
Mostly for the morphs I guess. And I enjoy your work immensely.I like your choices of models and the varied source material you find be they popular big bust models, or lesser known and unknown models. I also appreciate that you delve into the world of sex comics and toons.

But there is a way for you to measure your success. Your page views. If people didn't care for your work, the posts would not be viewed, discussions would not occur, and the topic about Nemo,would soon exit the front page. The fact is - that the number of views for the topic that carries your name (Finding Nemo) is in excess of 60,000 and has maintained a top tier position on Page One of the User Gallery Forum
for quite some time.

There should be plenty of satisfaction in that - because - just consider how many posts about morphers have simply appeared and then sank into oblivion.
I hope you can find the value in that fact.

Captain, I think you're doing brilliant work. There are so many reasons someone might prefer one morph over another that have nothing to do with the morpher's technique or choice of sizes... I personally never worry about it. The work is its own reason. As far as expansion sizes go, I always try to find the proportions that the image is "asking for". (Like Michelangelo searching for the buried figure in a block of marble, but with nudie pictures, photoshop, and far less artistic commitment.)
