I'm sorry, but she is evil. She is stupid. She is a nutball extremist who -- should McCain die -- will plunge America and the world into hell. I hate her.

I was honestly on the fence between Obama and McCain. McCain is a very fine man. But we cannot, cannot have Palin a heartbeat away. I am now decided.

I feel the same way. I was in Obama's camp before, and I knew Old McCain wasn't going to worry about attracting my vote, but I thoughthe was at least going to put some thought into it. When I heard he was vetting Lieberman and Ridge, it sounded good, because if McCain is elected there is a very high chance that he won't live to complete his term--Nothing magic, but he's about two years shy of the male US life expectancy.

Then he picks this really shallow bimbo/psycho?

aren't all white suburbinites?

Hell, I'd make sure I still have my wallet if Obama walked past me.

(The above statement is a joke, and does not reflect the views of Mofoapoo.  Seriously, I love everyone.  I would totally make out with a black guy to show I'm not racist.)

I don't mean to hammer away at this, but imagine, should something happen to McCain . . . Palin in the White House.

Brrr!

I am shivering all over. I am sobbing. I would move to Canada and then still be scared. Do you want her finger on the nuclear button?

She makes Dan Quayle look like the most superbly qualified vice president in history.

Heh, good one.

Having lived in Canada for the first 40-odd years of my life, I can't say I ever felt disillusioned that somehow being up there I was isolated from US politics/geography/nuclear war.

I really haven't much to say on this, as I figure after 7+ years of this, and if anyone still want to elect McCain then I say to you that after Obama gets elected and turn this economy around that you can fork over $10-20,000 to me and pretend your still living in the Bush world. Together we can help you make it through the new era!

He must have seen her handle a weapon:

Oh, and by the way, I wish people would stop using the words "liberal" and "conservative" like they were epithets, and I wish people would stop trying to make "liberal" be a synonym for "Democrat" and "conservative" be a synonym for "Republican". It's time to take our words back.

I was sure I was abstaining from the political election and was going to just vote on local issues.

But now I have to vote for Obama.  Palin thinks, among other things, abortion should be illegal in cases of r.... a .... p .... e.  even this board thinks it should be censored and **03**.........I have other issues, but most are against the Repubs.  This just makes it so easy to vote.

I heard that McCain wanted to choose his favorite lapdog Liebermann to be his running mate but the evil powers that be that follow Karl Rove wanted him to choose Mitt Romney, so in his typical impulsive way, McCain said, "Fuck it, I'll choose someone no one has ever heard of -- Sarah Palin".

Why do I get the feeling that McCain chose her, over many other much better qualified women (if he absolutely positively needed to choose a woman, that is), only so that he could throw the election? If he'd chosen a good VP, and lost, he'd have to admit that he was no good in the first place, but this way, he could throw up his hands and say, "Well, I gave it the old college try, but that colored guy, he's too smart for me...it's not my fault!"

What a great movie this would make. This chick flick, naturally, features a wild stroke of fate, when the two-year governor of an oversized igloo becomes commander in chief after the president-elect chokes on a pretzel on day one.

The movie ends with the former beauty queen shaking out her pinned-up hair, taking off her glasses, slipping on ruby red peep-toe platform heels that reveal a pink French-style pedicure, and facing down Vladimir Putin in an island in the Bering Strait. Putting away her breast pump, she points her rifle and informs him frostily that she has some expertise in Russia because it’s close to Alaska. “Back off, Commie dude,” she says. “I’m a much better shot than Cheney.”

Then she takes off in her seaplane and lands on the White House lawn, near the new ice fishing hole and hockey rink. The “First Dude,” as she calls the hunky Eskimo in the East Wing, waits on his snowmobile with the offspring — Track (named after high school track meets), Bristol (after Bristol Bay where they did commercial fishing), Willow (after a community in Alaska), Piper (just a cool name) and Trig (Norse for “strength.”)

“The P.T.A. is great preparation for dealing with the K.G.B.,” President Palin murmurs to Todd, as they kiss in the final scene while she changes Trig’s **39**. “Now that Georgia’s safe, how ’bout I cook you up some caribou hot dogs and moose stew for dinner, babe?”
