Looks like Germany is heading towards a path of national censorship. Netzdg. Surely its citizens will be angry at this as much as how angry they get when Trump sneezes to the left instead of to his right.

By the way, is everyone really going to ignore the fact that making a claim that 2017 was the most sick in human history following all the hitler years is an asinine claim?

2001 was pretty bad. During the 1300's, cant remember which year exactly, the bubonic plague hit and claimed over 40 million lives.... 1914, the beginning of world war 1...

But, 2017... by golly......

Well since the end of WWII we have these laws that should prevent Nazis from rising again, preventing them to spread their fashist lies. Unfortunately US companies didn't enforce those laws in Germany. So these companies got new laws that actually now works to make sure Nazis finally get their share of the justice.

Everything fine. Some really very, very very sick Nazi people (mainly in Germany, but not exclusively) now don't understand this new enforcements of these old laws from after WWII. They now believe they are victims, while in fact they are offenders. They feel censored? Well since soon 70 years these laws exist and now they feel censored when justice finally hits the offending nazis? Good! The extremist right wing Nazi terrorists are the target not conservative people.

By the way the western allies were once fine with these laws and they wanted us to enforce them.

2018 starts already pretty bad. It has 21 more days than 2017 for ruining the year.

Okay but who gets to decide whats considered "nazi"? You yourself have painted a range of many different people into the category "nazi."

If you post online about your disagreement in the migrant crisis, is that nazi content that should be removed? If you make a video criticizing Angella Merkel for a policy, is that considered nazi content?

Germany seems to have gotten a strong hold on censorship over its citizens. Because if basic disagreements categorizes one side automatically as nazis, then censorship run amuk.

And liberals here in the US freaked the f*** out over the CDC (not the whole damn country) not being able to say "transgender" and "science based" in the same sentence.

I miss SwitcherX.  :-\

It is your interpretation of who I painted as a nazi, because making nazis as victims should make them as protection worth, feeling sorry for them. WRONG approach!

But in fact it is very simple who speaks like a nazi is a nazi. He don't even need to act like one. And at the end justice takes them into responsibility. Justice has the last word.

I try to explain it one more time for you, it seems complicated to understand laws. We have laws since after WWII that don't allow hate speech. Hate speech in terms of racial (and since races in human don't exists the better word is "ethnical group") and religious hate speech or hate speech towards minority in termns of nazi language. There is no free speech for hate speech of nazis. This is not what free speech is about.

And we don't have censorship. You are misinformed - probably by far right extremist nazi websites that launch fake news because they like to be seen themselves as victims rather than agressors - nazi agressors they are.

And obviously you don't understand the law in Germany if you think the aim of the law is to forbid the word transgender and sience based ... As I said before who speaks like a nazi is a nazi.

Someone who is able to articulate in a conservative way and not speaking like a nazi is welcome todo so. And if he is able to articulate his conservative opinions without limiting the rights of ethnical, religious or other minority groups he is welcome to do so. Nazi language isn't welcome. And somehow since about 5 years political Nazis believe they became conservative. No they don't. They actually knew this is to trick people in thinking they became conservative and thus it is acceptable to speak like them. In fact this pulled out a lot of nazis from their brown muddy dirt holes. People that believed they are conservative, but always spoke like nazis. But they never appeared active in politics or public. They were silent. They didn't knew they are nazis because nobody external told them they are by giving a feedback. Now with the success of the political nazis they start to come out of their brown muddy dirt holes letting it public known they are conservatives. Now they are not conservative they speak like nazis, so they are nazis. And when someone tells them they are nazis, they are suddenly surprised and feel like victims, instead of agressors they are.

People can criticizing Merkel as long as they don't do like nazis do or try to launch hate speech towards ethnical, religious or minority groups in those critics. Because then it is not the critics of Merkel that get their comment removed but breaking laws of what I explained earlier. And I don't like her either. I expressed this long time ago in this thread - repeatedly. I want her to let the chancellor job go, it's not a secret. Show me one example where a German judge forbid critics towards Merkel (nazi speech excepted). You won't find any. It is a myth launched by right wing nazi extremist websites that produce fake news.

Unfortunately I have to repeat my explanations all the time. Here in this answer and in todays answer I already explained 80% of it in posts before. Somehow it seems it disappears in Nirvana. Or I use a language and phrasing that some theoretical experienced communists use, but nobody else understands. But since I don't understand these (ages ago on university we had some of this specimen in our courses) theoretical communists either, I don't think it is my language or phrasing.

Up front ...

This book "Fire and Fury" that is said to be published soon. I give a shit on the part that comes from interviews with "Steve Bannon".

The biggest fake news producer Steve Bannon on far right wing nazi extremist terrorist website is not to be trusted. He is just an angry old white man.

I wait for material collected and published by trustworthy special counsel Robert Mueller. At least with him I know that he honours democratic values and democratic intentions.

Well, El Presidente filed a lawsuit to stop the publication of the book. Like he thinks he can really do that.

Must be a sign that he's really worried about the contents! Basically, he's claiming the usual libel stuff. The book presents him in an unfair light, is damaging to his reputation, etc.

Too bad he's forgotten that if the case went to trial, everyone interviewed in the book will have to testify UNDER OATH about what they saw and said - like how Trump had to have the Constitution explained to him, and got bored by the time they got to the Fourth Amendment.... And the author of the book TAPED all his interviews.

And you know what? Thanks to all the publicity, the publishers moved up the publication date....

Meanwhile, the Bannonistas and the Trumpers are fighting it out in the comment sections on the usual right-wing sites. Several Congressmen had two days of meetings with a psychiatrist on - well, basically "How To Spot Senile Dementia in a Politician Before He Does Something Disastrous".

http://www.politico.com/story/2018/01/03/trump-25th-amendment-mental-health-322625

"By all accounts, most GOP Congress members recognize that Donald Trump is a pathological narcissist with early stage dementia and only peripheral contact with reality — and they have, nonetheless, decided to let him retain unilateral command of the largest nuclear arsenal on planet Earth because it would be politically and personally inconvenient to remove his finger from the button.

"You don’t need a degree in psychiatry to call that crazy.

The Republican congress wants trump to stay where he is for the sole reason that he is competent enough to sign his name.

That's it he can hold a pen and sign his name.  They will put up with everything else no matte how bad or foolish, stupid, inane, or demented.  So long as he can sign he's perfect.

Pence can do that just as easily, but without damaging our democratic (as in part of our democracy, NOT a reference to the political party) institutions, lowering our international reputation, or increasing the chance of war.

Oh, by the way - mark "January 30" on your calendar. That's the date El Presidente is scheduled to give his first official State of the Union address. Now it's not *required* that he do it live and in person, but we all know his ego won't let him pass up the chance to be on TV on ALL THE NETWORKS.

Given how he is so easily bored, distracted, and apparently incapable of staying focused on anything that's not on FOX News, who wants to guess how big of a disaster it will be?

How the sick minds of far right wing nazi terrorists work when they post on fake news websites!

This is an example from Germany. Nazis or their like is not to be trusted in any situation at all. They are 94% liars! That's the conclusion what analysis of democratic values based reliable German media shows.

Only 26 (still not good at all they even happened) of 445 cases on a far right wing nazi terrorist websites which names indicate **14**, acutally had a refugee as agressor or suspect agressor for **14**. 419 cases or 94% of **14** just didn't exist. 154 cases had ZERO effidence that anything at all happened, everthing ended in Nirvana!

The cases came from a google map with pins that get feeded by nazis and the nazi terrorist use it on Fakebook, and so on and so on. ....

Why do I call them all Nazis terrorists all the time? They spread fear with the intention to cause violent attacks to achieve political, religious or ideological goals to remove the democratic society. So they are terrorists for me. Period!

Edit: The word **14** that got replaced means sex that didn't happen in agreement ... often together with violence.

Is Stephen Millers Trumpelstilskens best man? He really sends such a loser to CNN? Wow.

Well, the place Stephen Mlller usually lives is very damp, warm and dark. If Trumpelstilsken and Miller travel together they can at least this way safe a seat for Miller ...

I believe Pendejo was referring to Oprah Winfrey, not the other person in the photo :)

"I offer a note of caution. Do we really want to elect another billionaire TV star? Granted, this one's actually a billionaire. And actually a TV star...That said, one of the things that inspires me most about Oprah is that I believe that she is reasonable enough to consider the possibility that, maybe, being a billionaire TV star doesn't necessarily qualify you to have the launch codes. Then again, if we ever did go toe-to-toe with North Korea, I believe she could calm Kim Jong Un down -- just by helping him lose weight."

To complete the picture of what I said. Just these days:

A German far right wing extremist politican of the German Nazi Party AfD posted a Nazi propaganda meme/poster (from 1944) on **24** to support the fact that she believes that German woman need to stay German with arian blood ...

She insisted publicity she is no nazi.

That's how the argumentation of NAZIS nowadays work.

Couple of thoughts.....

1. On Winfrey in 2020:

Sounds nice, until you start to recall all the junk science she's pushed over the years. And we really should have someone with SOME political experience as a candidate, regardless of party.

You know, there's a "dark horse" possibility for the Democrats - in that I haven't seen any pundit mention him. Yes, he's a guy - we shouldn't hold that against him. But he's been the mayor of a large city, a state governor, and is currently serving as a senator. He's spent time as the DNC chairman, so he knows the workings of the party machinery. He's had enough national exposure so that any significant problems should have already come out. And for those who want a younger candidate, he isn't even 60 years old yet.

Tim Kaine in 2020??

2. The Trump apologists are saying that A) his knowing people's names in that DACA meeting is a sure sign that he's not suffering from early stage senility (however you call it) and B) he couldn't sing along to the National Anthem at that sportsball game because it was too loud for him to follow along.

Well.... with regards to A, if you see photos of that meeting, you'll note the clearly labeled place cards in front of everyone. The only thing he had to remember was to read the names off them. And as far as B goes, while someone claiming to love America so much would surely know the words without prompting, there's a strong connection between Alzheimer's and hearing loss.....

3. From Jay Berman, who worked on drafting the 25th Amendment (where Article 4 talks about removing a president who is incapable of fulfilling his duties):

"At this moment, I don’t think he meets the test of a president who’s incapable of fulfilling his responsibilities. I think he was elected to do these dumb things. He hasn’t become dumber or meaner since he was elected — this is who he’s always been. This was who he was when he ran, and may well have been the reason people elected him. The problem is that we have a ridiculous electoral system and a bizarre set of circumstances that conspired to make this situation possible. But I can’t honestly say that the 25th Amendment is the answer right now. The answer right now is impeachment."

"Can the 25th Amendment be invoked to remove Trump from office? I asked one of its authors." - Sean Illing, Vox, 1-10-18

And we all know that Impeachment won't happen until the Democrats get control of both houses of Congress.

The problem is, did the democrats some bigger internal re-newing, some re-freshing, adapting postions with new ideas? If they still think and work like 1.5 years ago ... the won't be successful long term.

Same for many parties in Europe, especially the eg. the Social Democratic Party of Germany.  Since 12 years they miss chance after chance to re-new and change.
