For those who made need further explanation as to the terminology used above (and you know who you are!) due to a released grip[ on the English language as is commonly used throughout the English-Speaking world and not just in your own fiefdom (there I go again with another word I'll have to explain)...

Self-Flagellating: Although original context wold indicate self-whipping, in fact the implied meaning as used in context with the following term can vary.  In this particular case, the clearly implied meaning is "Self-Punishing" or bring upon one's own self hardship due to one's own behavior or actions.

Wanker: Whilst in one meaning it is someone who masturbates...and by that virtue would include virtually every human being on the planet at one time or another, in this case it means "Contemptible Person" or "Jerk".

In both of those last two definitions, our friendly neighborhood moderator, Palomine  , was correcting contemptible behavior, with an individual being a jerk... so the full definition stands.

Let's go a step further.

"Self-Flagellating Wanker" would then in its entirety mean:
"A Jerk who is causing himself grief by his own contemptible behavior."

Ladies and gentlemen, I rest my case.  I do not suffer fools lightly and pointing one out is NOT a rule violation.  Especially when one is cheering on a moderator doing his duty.

Translation for all "pinkys" out there:  Blah blah blah, big word, blah blah, really big word, blah blah blah... something in Yiddish.
