Have to agree with the suggestion that photo content tends to look more and more similar as time goes by at the major providers... sure, sets, costumes, makeup, etc.. all seem top-shelf, but there's a certain generic quality creeping into many (but thankfully not yet all) layouts. This growing phenomena of sameness is less evident on particular models who standout more often simply as a result of unusual qualities (Chloe, Linsey, etc...) but for many of the others (like the 6 to 10 implated blondes Score's presently using in rotation) it's just a never-ending stream of been there, done that. I know that outlets like Score and HotBox are huge multi-media publishing entities with compartmentalization that comes with economies of scale, but as a consumer of both their products, I hope they each make a serious effort to diversify their model base to include new faces on a more freqent basis AND to utlilize the skills and talents of a NEW bunch of photographers, art directors and creative artists to expand the diversity of thier work.
I'm not accusing anyone of making off with untold millions, but you'd think that with all the susbscription sales alone (to say nothing of tapes and web subscriptions) you'd think that there'd be room in their budgets for some improvements in the areas of creative content.
I'll probably keep buying for a while regardless, but I'm likely to purchase even more content if the overall quality improves and diversifies.
JMHO (is the fact that I have a complete collection of Scores from #1 to present soemthing that I should be proud of or embarrased about? I can never quite remember which....
