p.s. Any word on whether we can post morphs of Nadine?

Just FYI, NO pix of Nadine are 'OK for posting' at this site, even if they are freely distributed by Nadine's site. The NO PIX OF NADINE rule also applies to morphs at the moment, until such time as Imaginos says otherwise (he's looking into it in terms of liability, whether Nadine would object, etc...).

So, by all means discuss this topic or any other for that matter... but for now, Nadine image are not permitted here.

The only thing I would add is that, while it is true that the first amendment is mostly irrelevant to the morphing issue, defamation may not be.  Though most parody is safe, if the alteration or secondary use of an image is deemed libelous by the subject of the image, costly legal proceedings could follow.

I disagree completely that this would constitute libel. The entire appeal of Nadine's site is geared toward big boob lovers. I can hardly see the logic in determining that by posting a morphed pic of Nadine here at the BEA that the publisher has somehow defamed her character since the impetus for doing so is very similar if not identical to that of her own website. This would be especially true of any woman who had her breasts artificially augmented since the power is in the hands of a jury in any civil litigation.

Now, if we took a flat chested nun and posted morphs of her here, that might actually be a valid argument, but for someone who charges people to access pictures of her big boobies, libel is a non-issue in this case I would think.

If I remember correctly J.R.R.'s son (chris i think) was actually succesful in copyrighting the name Tolkien.  Hmmm let me check into this and get back to you.

You might be thinking of Trademarking. You can't copyright a name. Now when I copyrighted my first CD, I used a Pseudonym on the registered work. That does not mean that the name I used becomes copyrighted along with the work. BUT, it does mean that I have a legally registered copyright attributed to that name or pseudonym. Since one of the criteria for obtaining a registered trademark is having some form of saleable goods, this WOULD however put me a step closer to being able to use the Pseudonym as a registered trademark with the ® symbol, but actually you must go through a lengthy and expensive process to be able to do that.

However, by using a pseudonym on a registered copyrighted CD, I also enable myself to put the ™ symbol next to that pseudonym anywhere I publish it with a much higher degree of success in defending my right to use the name as a trademark. This would also likely improve my chances of receiving a registered trademark.

I'm thinking that is likely what you are referring to.

One other thing we should keep in mind is that a good model's website will always have a few free sample pics available. Many of us have modest free sections in our galleries, for example. And both Nadine and Bettie post a few pics from each update in their free areas.

Such "free" pics should be OK for posting.

That's not necessarily true dude. Just because she furnishes them for free does not imply that other people can redistribute them. She still retains the copyright to those images unless she explicitly states that she is submitting them to the 'public domain'.

It's kind of the same thing with the whole mp3 issue. You likely won't be criminalized or sued for downloading a copyrighted mp3 from Kazaa, because it is simply not feasible for a jury or judge to assume that you should ask if the person has been given permission to redistribute the work. You really have no way of knowing whether they do or not anyway at the time you download it. Now if you write to the author and ask and a month later they tell you that the mp3 is only available legally from Publisher A, B and C, and you downloaded it from XYZ, then you should probably destroy the copy you downloaded. If the author has NEVER published mp3 versions of the work, then it is probably just plain illegal since mp3 is NOT an exact duplicate of the work. Any mp3 file uses a truncated digital wave to reproduce a near copy of the work, so if they do not furnish any mp3 versions of their work to anyone at all, simply owning an mp3 version of their music is likely going to be viewed as copyright infringement.

Part of the reason the 'consumer' is not targeted in these cases is because of the fact that to enforce the law in this manner is just not practical or even possible. Laws must be enforcable to have an legal merit. Nobody is going to issue a search warrant or subpoena on you for something as shaky as that over one downloaded mp3.

You may very well have purchased a copy from mp3.com and lost it. Even if you DID download it again from Kazaa, even if it is not the exact same file because it is a second shorter, or has been watermarked... if you have a receipt of your purchase from mp3.com, and only one copy of the file, it's probably going to fly in court. It's somewhat of a grey area when dealing with the consumer because of the way the law is written. The entire point of authoring content whether it is pics or tunes or whatever is that it is consumed, so just possessing an mp3 or pic you got from someone who is not entitled to redistribute it is probably not an enforcable offense of the law.

Now if you DL it from kazaa and it remains in the shared folder, then you have a problem. If you make it available to anyone else whether you are legally entitled to own it or not, whether you realize it or not, it's copyright infringement, plain and simple unless you have a statement from the copyright owner explicitly stating that you have the right to redistribute the work in such a fashion.

The target of these suits is almost always a person who redistributes the work without explicit permission from the copyright owner. That's the easiest and most efficient way to crack down on copyright infringement.

I dont know how impossible it would be to do this thread without certain pictures. But, It seems to me that Nadine's boobs have grown to double if not triple their size when she came on the scene just a FEW years ago.

Is it possible that someone could verify this? Comments, anyone?

I definitely agree.  I believe she has steadily been taking fenugreek, which probably accounts for her amazing natural growth.

It's some natural breast enhancer. I really don't believe it. Considering if you look at most of the models that appear on there seem to have grown since they started. Annemarie and Bettie herself come to mind.

Playing a little devil's advocate here, the rest of Nadine has grown as well. . . I think she's just proportional (for her, anyway.)

Ah, the voice of reason! I know there are folks who SWEAR that this or that breast-enhancer work as advertised, but IMHO it's wishfull thinking. Just because Nadine uses F... and she has big breasts and she's still getting bigger (I agree that's it's a proportional increase too... she's bigger everywhere than when she first started modelling) and even if Nadine herself believes it is responsible for her growth... all that doesn't make it so.

In all probability, if Nadine endorses a breast enhancer, she more than likely receives some compensation for doing so. Whether she actually uses it or not, or believes it works is pretty much moot. As we've discussed so many times before, women's breasts DO get biggger from time to time for a number of reasons (their period, weight gain, exercise, etc...) so any increase of boobage and the taking of F... is most certainly coincidental.

Come on, don't you think that IF THERE WERE a scientifically proven method of breast enlargement that the maker would go to the trouble of getting it approved by the FDA/etc... so that they could advertise it as actually being a WORKING supplement and charge accordingly? If/when a company/person DOES develop a pill that DOES increase breast size w/o any major side effects... there will be literally millions of women (and men for that matter) happy to pay through the nose for it.

BTW, I happen to think that Nadine is gorgeous, thick or thin.

I agree.  Nadine is bigger all over.  Last weekend I viewed her latest video on DHD and she looks to have gained considerable weight.  She might just be eating a lot of food.

As far as Nadine's growth, yeah she is bigger...all over.

As far as Fenugreek, my fiance' is taking it and it seems to be working.  She told me she's about a half a cup bigger now.  I also know of a poster here who is/was taking it and commented on how one of her button-up shirts just won't button all the way up anymore.
