Of course it does.  But that did not happen in Rio's case and that was my point.  Weight loss will usually affect breast size.  Connelly didn't appear to lose THAT much weight.  And if she put it back on I don't think her boobs would return to her Moholland Falls glory days unless she gets prego - again.  Which is another situation - many woman will lose their breasts after breast feeding.

Uh, Connelly lost quite a bit of weight.  She looks like a ghost at the Academy Awards when she accepted her Oscar for Beautiful Mind.

I'm goint to guesstimate a 15-20lb difference between Mulholland Falls (her heaviest onscreen) and Raquiem for a Dream (her buffest).  No more than that.  That's not a lot of weight to me.

Can't shed any light on Rio's situation, but...

As for Yoko, she lost a ton of weight.  Whether that's good or bad depends on your perspective, but I think she's looked very gaunt and not nearly as sexy in her past couple of DVD videos as she did in, for example, Suika, [censored] Paradox, Melon, and other vids from around that same time.

Forget the boobs for a minute and compare her hips--she was a perfect hourglass in the earlier works, yet recently you can actually see her hip bones appearing very prominently.  In some shots they look as though they are going to punch a hole through her skin.  IMO, that is unhealthy-looking.  At a minimum, it is hard to look at, but maybe I'm just squeamish.

As for Jen Connelly, IMO, she never ever looked better than she did in Career Opportunities.  She pretty much kept her figure until A Beautiful Mind--it was shocking when she appeared on stage at the Oscars that year.  Didn't even look like the same girl.

You are completely right about Connelly, Argyle, and that's exactly what I observed and felt.  Connelly is one of my all time favorite actresses and its a shame.

As for whether 15-20lbs is significant, that's a matter of taste. I understand that there is a heavy bias in this forum for a certain type and I don't think there's a need to always rehash those kind of debates.

Has anyone seen anything of Rio?  I was thinking about her the other day and realised I havent seen or heard anything is quite some time.  Always a favorite.

Yeah, pretty normal story really.  She got married, retired from modelling and had her first baby towards the end of last year.

She was pretty much the biggest idol around (no pun intended) for several years.  You couldn't walk into a bookstore or convenience store without seeing her picture on the cover of at least half a dozen magazines.  These days her mantle has been been taken up by Ai Shinozaki who is an equally ubiquitous as a cover girl.  She's pretty busty herself, although a little thicker around the waist than Rio who had such incredible proportions.

Around the time Rio retired she was starting to pop up on various TV shows, so it's possible should could try to make a comeback in television if she decides to go back to work.
