Well, originally when thread was started a response could only be one word only. Something like " Sun " and you would respond as " Hot " or whatever but it was restricted to one word only. Time passed and now it seems you can be more flexible and sometimes the responses are non - sensible or completely obscure to the great majority. I try to keep it within the last five or so entries if possible in order to have a linear thought process going but I sometimes can't so I'll wait till other people start something new. So here goes mine: Phillips

What page were the rules on? I've never seen them, and assumed the game was 'word association', as in some kind of free-association of what each entry brings to mind. Never knew it had to be a single word... Plus, some things 'VW Beetle', or someone's name, are still one 'thing', if not one word.
Yes, well, erm, ahh, hmmm, uh, um, ...eh?

To be honest, I think I got confused with another thread. I went to the beginning and I really thought MunchWolf who started this thread had set that rule but I guess I'm mistaken. Like Gilda Radner use to say, never mind !  :-[

Solvegas, your association for my word "Phillips" is "Phillips"?

I guess there are no rules that say you can't associate a word with the same darn word, but... hmmmm... :P)

No worries. I hope my comment didn't seem snarky, because it wasn't meant to be -- more just simply asking, 'cause I'd never seen any rules anywhere. For what it's worth, 'the rule' is already broken on page 1....
