I have a tendency to put even the minimalists to shame.

And for those of you whose eyebrows were raised by the taskbar, yes, it's actually the Win95 GUI (running atop the Win98SE core).

On occasion, though, my PC tends to let out its more sinister side.

(I'm pretty sure nobody else owns the image in my previous post, so I hope this isn't violating the 1-1-1-1 rule).

Yeah.  To this day, especially with that with that weird keyboard effect (at least, I *think* it's a keyboard), the intro to track 5 ("The Oath") of that album still creeps me out.  I dunno, that weird, irregular shifting of the keyboard's pitch never fails to send a chill down my spine.

Wow music was intense back in the day...

With me, it was that I never quite realized how musically talented and intricate Mercyful Fate/King Diamond was (still is, I imagine).

Of course, even the "lighter" stuff was pretty kicking.  But then again, I'm an 80s metalhead at heart.

(and I *swore* I'd never start going into the "well back in MY day..." thing with music!)

... and we're rapidly going off-topic...

Too bad he had no clue what his image meant...

Pray, v.  To ask that the laws of the universe be annulled in behalf of a single petitioner confessedly unworthy.

Found a Firewire 800 (1339B) bridgeboard that supports 4 separate IDE drives by itself,
so I gutted an old SCSI enclosure and stuffed 4 extra/older drives into it. Hence, my humble
Mac now has 1.84 terabytes of storage available, with the external drives as fast as the internal drives.

Of course.  Windows is evil by definition.

Here's my current incarnation (had to lower the quality to make upload limits).
