I was just trawling around an old hard drive and ran across a saved thread from almost 10 years ago, which I thought some of you might be amused by (not for its specific subject matter, but rather just for nostalgia). The thread in its entirety is pasted below (with the top also attached as a graphic so newbies can see what the BEA Forums looked like years ago) ...it brings back memories of members no longer with us. I've also posted it as-is: without editing out any of my grammatical errors, which were even worse back then. If you've got an ancient thread to share, feel free to add it here... as long as it's text, it'll still come up in relevant future searches, provided the sysadmins eventually fix the Search feature.

In my effort to compensate for what I perceive as a slowdown of posts here at the BEA, let me just update you re: Terri Wiegel's appearance last weekend on L.A.'s (public access) basic cable show "The Dr. Susan Block Show." I won't bother to explain much about the Dr. or her show (plenty has been written about her already in various media and I'm sure there's info about it on the web).

Anyway, the usual interview was going on: the Dr. squeezing her aging bod into trashy looking lingerie and interviewing someone on her bed. That someone was a naked mid-30ish-looking blonde with decent sized D cup breasts (clearly implanted). Next to the blonde was a long-haired 40-something guy that turned out to be the blonde's husband. Anyway, the blonde turned out to be Terri Wiegel (forgive any spelling errors, please), former playmate and porn star.

I didn't recognize her at first since Terri was always a brunette in the pix that I've seen and also after a number of not-too-good boob jobs following her move from Playboy to hardcore porn, I remember her somewhat mishapen boobs as being larger than those of the blonde that I saw on TV. But Terri it was. I'll assume that salvage surgery to improve her breasts has taken place not too long ago.

I gotta say (absolutely no disrespect intended, just trying to impart the flavor of the broadcast) that she definitely didn't seem very smart. P'haps it was just her excessive giggling, or her faux-little-girl voice (out of place on a woman her age IMHO) but she really came off as less than sharp. Maybe she was a bit **92**, I'm not sure. However, she wasn't bad to look at (in a somewhat generic kind of way... but it's basic cable so you can't be too picky) and shortly, she was blowing her husband, which is more explicit than is usually seen on basic cable (at least here in LA). Oddly, her hubby (no rocket scientist or male model himself... the impression that I got was of a wannabe rocker well past his prime) seemed to have a hard time getting it up, despite some brief but enthusiastic oral attention from wifey (not THE Wifey, who could probably arouse a corpse, but HIS wifey: Terri of course) He also went down on her for a bit too and actually COMPLAINED a bit about her weight after she was sitting on his face for a bit. Anyway, the show wasn't amazing or anything (frankly, I find Dr. Block a little bit creepy and a whole lot bit pretentious) but I thought that I'd mention it in case there are any rabid Terri fans out there interested in her activities. As expected it ended shortly after a fairly unauthentic orgasm from Terri as a result of the threesome on the Dr.'s bed.

Personally, I've never been a major Terri fan myself, but I certainly preferred her as a brunette, preferably pre-implant. From the few times I've seen her back then on tape, I recall that she hollered a lot during sex and seemed fairly acrobatic. It was on 77, which is the local cable service's public access channel in my part of LA (there are multiple systems here... it's a big city). So, any household that has that particular cable system active could watch the show I suppose. I have no idea whether the show had any kind of V-chip coding to allow parents to automatically preempt it.

However, general nudity on basic cable is not unheard of... tho' oral sex is rare.

MilkManiac: I don't know where you're watching TV (different areas of the country have different community standards of course) or what cable system you have, but it might be worth a visit to your P.A. basic cable website in case they have a schedule. Here (in LA) the shows that regularly feature nudity are: Dr. Block's Show, Colin's Sleazy Friends (good one last week with Raylene, see my forum post) and sometimes Harley Fire's Party Show. There may be others of which I'm unaware (watch TOO much public access and you'll go crazy, lose IQ points, or both). There was also a show a few months ago called Boobs but I didn't catch it and don't know if it represented truth in advertising. Generalizing, I assume that P.A. fare would be more risque in larger cities (NY, SF, LA) than it might in the midwest or Salt Lake.

DTM: You may be right about Terri having had implants at the start of her career. After she started hardcore her boobs looked larger and oddly shaped (compared to when whe was in Playboy). Personally, I think she looked better as a brunette, but she didn't look bad on the show... just somewhat generic (according to my personal tastes). Wow. I must say I'm more than a little surprised that public access actually showed a blow job. Many cable companies (mine included) don't even show that kind of explicitness on the scrambled stations.

I'm also surprised that there isn't some kind of public outcry in your area, Palomine. (Let me mention as an aside at this point that I love porn as much as the next guy; I'm just surprised, that's all.) I would think tons of people would be calling the cable company complaining. We once had a cable access show in my area (San Diego) that only had women dancing around in lingerie, and the cable company eventually pulled the plug due to the outcry.

I live in Massachusetts, sort of between Providence and Boston. We have Media One cable in our area. There are NO shows on cable that have nudity, much less anything more explicit. We do have the ability to get soft-core porn on ppv, but it's strictly soft stuff.

Fuckin' repressed, Puritanical New England for ya! But hey! All the murders and slasher pics and gore you want ARE available here. Strange commentary on our society when extreme violence is preferable to sex. Maybe if kids saw more nudity on TV and less violence, they would stop bringing guns to school and killing each other? never mind....

If you are interested in getting honest-to-goodness hardcore programming in your home, you do have a couple options:

1) Get a C-Band satellite system. There are no fewer than six completely hardcore channels on C-Band. However, C-Band systems require a big dish (7 1/2 foot minimum), so they're not practical for most people.

2) Get a DISH Network 500 satellite system. This is a small dish system which most people can set up on their house or apartment without disrupting the neighborhood. The DISH Network currently carries Extasy, which is a completely hardcore channel.

In either case, you cannot legally get ANY hardcore channel if you live in any of the following states:
Alabama
Tennesee
North Carolina
Oklahoma
Mississippi
Utah
