^Ah. A good question, that.
I stopped writing "Obsession" because my life fell apart for a little while. My marriage fell apart, my mom died and I lost my job. I didn't really feel like writing. I didn't really feel like doing much of anything until I met Eliza, actually. Then, slowly, things began to come together. The steam for "Obsession" had been lost along the way, though. I tried to pick it back up at one point and realized that it just didn't have that erotic spark for me anymore to continue it for now. The idea for "Possessions" popped into my head on morning and since then I haven't quite had the desire to restart "Obsession". As I began to post old segments from the series on my blog, I realized that I still liked a LOT about "Obsession", but didn't feel totally happy with it as I reread sections. What I realized is that I need to overhaul the series and that will probably be my next project once I publish "The Mouse" as an eBook. "The Mouse" is about 70,000 words and will be my test bed to see if anyone's interested in actually purchasing my stuff. If so, then I think an overhauled "Obsession" should prove a good sell. As I reread sections of "Obsession", I found I wanted to make it hotter, add more description, and let the reader know more of what the characters are thinking. As it gets rewritten, I'll try publishing the new version as an eBook and finish the series, to boot.
Oh, I tell a lie. I might add some more to Tara's adventure's in "Possessions" and try publishing THAT as an eBook, first. The idea, of course, is to add enough content to make it worth somone's while in spending a few bucks on a complete eBook.
Anyway, my apologies with the unfinished "Obsession", but, hopefully, it will actually be finished one day.
