I like Helmare It's a good name and it sounds like a real name, the new ones don't.

I prefer Helmare as well.  Try as I might I couldn't come up with one that sounded kinda cool like that.  Maybe I should try dumping the "mare" requisite, I imposed on myself, at the end of the name.  Dunno.  It's bloody annoying to have to change it.

Trouble is, I've been reminded that certain family members (and an EX-family member [ahem!]) were made aware of the name "Cris Helmare" back in the early days when I was first using it.  I would like to minimize the chance that they will come across it in the future with that name attached to a story.  (sigh)
