Julia Benson from Stargate Universe is going to be on a (probably painfully bad) Syfy movie called "Chupacabra vs. the Alamo" with Erik Estrada, March 23rd at 9pm.

Coincidentally, I happened to mention this upcoming schlockfest on the SyFy channel in my recent post in the OTF TV thread here: http://forum.bearchive.com/index.php/topic,9981772.0.html ...though I didn't know Julia Benson was in it. I'm not too proud to admit that because she's in it, I might actually have to watch. ;) She's delicious. :)

Here's a previously posted pic of her from some SGU fanservice.

A thread full of her stuff (including topless) is here: http://forum.bearchive.com/index.php/topic,9979105.70.html

Added later: I didn't get home in time to see this... did anyone catch it? Did they do Julia justice? Of course, any caps/clips would be great if they did (the couple from google just have her next to Estrada wearing a brown leather jacket holding a gun). Review of the movie follows:

Quote
Nothing ruins a Saturday night like a horror movie that starts to go tacky and then loses its nerve.
“Chupacabra vs. the Alamo” suffers no such failure. It starts out goofy, with a relentlessly straight face that every viewer knows masks none of the goofiness, and it just keeps getting worse, which is to say it just keeps getting better.
Chupacabras, for those who need a refresher course in horror film zoology, are nasty critters that will remind you of dogs, if you can imagine Rover with the personality of the Walking Dead.
When they’re rabid, as they conveniently are in this film, they gang up to rip people open and suck out all their blood.
Bad dog!
So anyhow, a whole pack of them is invading San Antonio, using a tunnel ordinarily reserved for harmless folks like drug smugglers.
Assigned to stop them is none other than DEA agent Carlos, better known to anyone over 40 as Erik Estrada of “CHiPS.”
He’s still got his ’sickle, too, and while it’s hard to tell how much he’s actually riding, we can see he’s not wearing a helmet.
Bad Carlos!
But we forgive him when he guns down a chupacabra at close range while he barks, “Chupa this!”

From the first time she is in it, tight t-shirts abound.... and then....sigh.  my wife came into the room and said, "this is awful, let's change it."
I am a man,
But I can change..
If I have to..
I guess.
