Well, it's a marvelous night for a Moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow...

Van Morrison, Moondance

Nice photos... Boise has bigger buildings than I thought. And lots of trees. :) BTW, have you ever posted the photo you're using in your avatar?

The name Boise is from the origin of the word "Bois" which is french for "wood" or "timber" they say it's called Boise because when it was discovered one of the guides said something along the lines of "Le bois, le bois!" and to answer your question, no i have never posted my avatar pic on the forum, but it was taken the same day the first pic I asked to be morphed was.

Thanks for postin' the pix, Jessica.

I've lived in many places across the country (mostly the south and mid-west), but never in Idaho.
It's all about the fantasy...

Way back in late spring and summer of 1976, before such things as CDs or DVDs even existed and eight track tapes were the thing to have, I was stationed at Idaho Engineering Reservation learning how to be nuclear power plant operator in Uncle Sam's canoe club. Yup, I was training to be a " Fucking nuke ", to use the cleanest term of endearment other sailors used, and lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho for six months. In spite of my best efforts, I did not make the cut when I failed my final oral board and washed out of the program. I then went to the submarine school in Groton, Connecticut and afterwards was sent to the USS Robert E Lee ( SSBN - 601 ) where I joined the boat in Florida, crossed the Panama Canal and proceeded then to Guam in the Marianas. My stay in Idaho was not pleasant due to the stress of the training course and failure which is why I have not been back in Idaho since. Yes, the folks in Idaho were very nice to us and there were several nice Mormon girls which wanted me to convert  if I wanted to partake in their charms. Can't blame Idaho for my failure but it is a painful memory. Perhaps someday I'll go see how much it has changed. I do remember how in the sunrise you could see the Tetons clear as a bell even though they were a ways away. Nice Summer weather even though the idea of snow until May was a shock to me.  :o
