Hey, it worked for both Stevie Wonder & Ray Charles...

When I was a kid we used to play the game "if you could lose one of your senses, which one would it be?" and I would always rather lose the ability to walk than lose the ability to see. I still cannot imagine how I would cope. You're obviously doing a whole lot better than I ever could in those circumstances...

So I just got my laptop hooked up to my new 60" flatscreen and I can just barely see things without too much blurryness. Its hard and I am guessing a lot on the edges, but its fun to be morphing again.

So far I have had three shots monthly of Avastin, intraocular, to treat my retinopathy, they say it will take at least 4-6 shots to know if it is working. Shots into your eyeball is fucking scary, but I am getting used to it.

Yeah, it does sound scary, but if there's any chance it'll help do what your doctors recommend. :-\

And do whatever else you can to help too. Like don't do that thing* your Mom told you not to do to keep from going blind. ::) :P
