The Address Bar Autocomplete Alphabet
« on: July 24, 2014, 07:07:00 PM »
Do you have an "autocomplete" function in your address bar? I do.

So, here's the deal. Enter each letter of the alphabet into your address bar. List the names of the autocompleted websites. No links, just names....

Here's what I get:

Armor Games
The B-Masters Cabal
Cracked
Deviant Art
The East Kingdom of the SCA
BEArchive Forum
g.live.com - redirects to MSN.com
Redemption of the Crimson Empress (hanadafuta) blog
Ill WIll Press
Joe Posnanski's blog
Songs in the Key of Z - funny, I haven't been there in ages!
Legend of Queen Opala wiki - a really good adult RPG
Yahoo! Mail
Network Awesome - a museum/gallery of awesomely interesting YouTube videos
Overthinking It
Periodic Videos
QDLA at Deviant Art
rtpoe at Deviant Art
Yahoo! Search
The Real Big Rock Candy Mountain music blog - someplace else I haven't been in ages
Unlearn! TV
The Void M.U.D. - I've never gotten involved, I was just looking into adult MUDs for a while
Weebl's Stuff
Xhime - Your source for illegal sharing of pornographic art and comics! Lots of Japanese stuff...
YouTube
Zetarok at Deviant Art

Well, it's a marvelous night for a Moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow...

Van Morrison, Moondance

Done on Firefox; I opened up a new tab, tabbed to the Address Bar, then did Ctrl-A to select everything there, before typing in each letter of the alphabet. Here we go:

Archive.org
Boobpedia (duh!)
Cut 20 Minutes: "Nothing pretentious or typical, just honest and oftentimes a humorous look at movies, TV, comics, apps, and other entertainment related news"
Dailymotion
The Economist
The Breast Expansion Archive Forum (duh!)
Google
Hidden Feet (which no longer seems to work)
Google Images (duh!)
Java's Bachelor Pad (which I haven't been to in AGES!)
YouTube: "Kashma Maharaj pumps biceps"
Lana's Big Boobs (duh!)
Yahoo Mail
Nearly Free Speech (great domain name registrar & webhost)
Other World Computing (great source for all things Mac)
Papa John's pizza (don't judge me LOL)
QuickMeme
Rachel Aldana - The Official Site of Britain's Largest Natural Breasts (duh!)
The South African Swimsuit Company
TinEye Reverse Image Search
Yahoo! Travel UK
Vkontakte (specifically, Yulia Vins' photo albums)
Wikipedia
XO Jane (a site which I refuse to go to any longer and therefore haven't been to in a very very long time indeed)
YouTube
ZZTits

I attempted this, but the investigative part of moderating takes me to such weird places that the results were a roughly 50/50 split between inexplicable and horrifying. -g

The "investigative part of moderating" you say? Yeah, that's my excuse too. ;)

use to do this shortly after getting first hi speed connection.
Now I have many dark images (and some sounds) trophy collection in my head.
A trip down memory lane is usually more like a horror movie fest.
mind you there is content out there that is best not to be mentioned even by the first letter.
