I got your "Report to Moderator" notice and was in the process of discussing the matter with gonZo. Please remember that mods here are NOT paid employees of the BEA working staggered shifts to provide 24-hour-a-day coverage for the forum and galleries. We are volunteers with lives and jobs and other responsibilities and we give (probably far too much) of our free time to cover the forum as best we can. While many problems often get addressed within minutes of being found/reported, sometimes it takes a little longer, particularly if we need to discuss it as a group (all three active moderators live in different time zones... we're not all sitting together in a room somewhere).
I personally do not recall us "promising" never to mention this site, and AFAICT there's no specific public rule against doing so. However, if it contains underag3 or otherwise prohibited material (as seems to be the suggestion) then of course, users can't post about it or solicit material from it, etc... Please bear in mind that when a rule is created prohibiting something, it's not the BEA "promising" that it'll never happen here: we don't control the actions of users, so we could never "promise" such a thing. It's simply a rule, that we will enforce to the best of our ability to do so. As we have in this case: the reference to the prohibited site has been removed (along with another thread about it) and a solicitation for prohibited/underag3 content has been logged against blur888.
HOWEVER, AFAICT the site is no longer online and (maybe) hasn't been online for a long time. Thus, posts mentioning it here (such as the one by blur888) aren't exactly pressing matters. He posted about a site which, even if prohibited by the no-chi1d-pron rule or containing prohibited material, doesn't seem to exist anymore.
I'll lock this thread to discourage anyone else from mentioning the site in question. If anyone has any justified objections to any of this, please PM me. Thank you.
