BEA Forum Morph Contest: May 2015
« on: May 01, 2015, 10:47:16 AM »
Alright everyone, its time! I'm your host, Spector, and I welcome you to the first in what I hope to be a long line of new BEA Morph Contests! I you didn't see the earlier announcement post (there's a link in my signature), these new contests are meant to be a spiritual successor to CarLT's old contests and will be run in much the same way. I'll repeat them every time, but here are the rules:

  • A new contest thread with a new theme will open on the first of every month
  • Once it's up, all of you talented morphers out there will have until the 18th to make and submit your work.
  • The next day, the 19th, I will open a poll will all of the entries and let you guys vote to decide on the winner. The poll will stay open until the 25th, and I will announce the winner the next day.

The winner each month will get a couple of really cool prizes. First, the winning work will be displayed in a new “Trophy Case” thread that I will open after this month, just like the old contests. The winner will also get to decide (or help me decide) on the theme for next month's contest. Finally, there is a special, secret prize in the works that I will let you know more about later.

With the business out of the way, let's get to what you all really care about.  The theme I've chosen for this month's contest is "Under Appreciated to Overly Endowed.”

Everyone has that favorite actress, singer, or other **29** who, despite her “talents”, isn't quite mainstream or just doesn't the attention she deserves: in the real world or here at the BEA. Either way, this is the time to prove we are equal opportunity morphers and give these poor, deprived ladies their time in the limelight.  ;D

I think that's it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or send me a message. Without further to do, have fun, go big, and let the games begin!!!!

I hope, I am understanding "Under Appreciated to Overly Endowed” correct. Mary Crawley is certain a mainstream character but she could be more endowed, so:

PS: we can submit more candidates?

First things first, WOW!!   :o   Second, being the first contest, the theme is meant to be pretty open.  The point of this theme is really to just let morphers showcase some of their favorite celebs and give them an excuse to make some awesome morphs that might not fit in on other threads.  Finally, feel free to make multiple submissions. The more stuff we get in, the more fun the contest will be.  :)

As a bit of a correction to my earlier post, after speaking with the mods, we have agreed that every entry will be considered separately.  This means that, if you submit multiple morphs, they will each get their own spot on the poll.  This way, everyone is voting for the best morph and not necessarily for a morpher.  Sorry for all the changes I've had to make to this post, but I think we're finally straighten out.  Thanks for being patient will me.

Great morph of Michelle Dockery Cap'n! IMO, all three of the daughters on Downton Abbey are pretty hot and certainly suitable candidates for this month's contest. :)

Ok here's my entry. Jennifer Lawrence is hot in Hollywood nowadays, I certainly wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers but what if.....
Just because your big breasts are the biggest, doesn't mean they can't be made BIGGER :)

Here's my inexperienced attempt. I've had a long-time crush on the lovely Morena Baccarin...

Inexperienced?  That looks pretty good to me, although I might be a little biased given the subject.  ;)

My official entry - Castle's Lanie Parish

(Tamala Jones + Maserati XXX)

I mostly suck at matching skin tones. The contest is as good excuse as any to develop my skills.

Plus, busting out a new (Mad Men inspired) watermark to match my screen name.

Putting my submission in.
I often don't save finished morphs, so save them for your viewing pleasure.
