Judging by my experience just now when I attempted to go to the addventure's home page, they've made it so that being logged in to the forum is no longer sufficient and only paying subscribers have access. Hopefully that was accidental rather than deliberate. The error message that I get includes:

"Access Denied
You have no access to Folder Addventure (http://old.bearchive.com/~addventure). Visit order page to order additional subscriptions."

ETA: I've now found that I can avoid this by editing my bookmark for the addventure so that it is for old.bearchive.com rather than www.bearchive,com. But if things stay like this, the number of people using the addventure can only decline still further, as I'm sure many will just give up rather than finding a work-around.

The BEArchive needs to be forked and given a new home.
As far as I can tell, posting to it never required giving up any rights.

We will remove the login completely from Addventure. Hopefully this week.

It now appears to me that they've fixed the "Access Denied" issue, and we're back to seeing the Login page again.  Can anyone else confirm that today's problem, at least, is fixed?

Okay, you should be able to access it if you click on the Login link at the bottom of that page. 

I know it's an extra annoyance that's going to lose us even more users because they think it's blocked again...

Logging in to the forum first is another way to do it. But my work-around of yesterday evening, of going directly to old.bearchive.com looks as if it no longer works.

If we log in from the main page users gallery, could we start being logged into the forum as well instead of a seperate log in?

It looks like some progress is being made. For the first time today, though clicking on my addventure bookmark still brought up the login screen, after logging in I was actually taken to the correct page rather than getting an error message and needing to click on the bookmark a second time.
