January 20th, 1996 - so ten years after the explosion at Chernobyl. Interesting hypothesis but unlikely to have a correlation. Would be interesting to study a bit more however...
From what I have seen and read, Ukrainian men tend to share preferences more along the lines of Georgian and Turkish fellows and not so much as their Bulgarian or Romanian neighbors, i.e. sturdier women with overall curves and slightly more ethnic but oddly lighter hair colors.
