$4.1 BILLION for each of Artemis’ first four launches.  Are you fucking kidding me?  And that doesn’t include the tens of billions for development.  The inspector general said that “it strikes us as unsustainable.”  You think?

Landing on the Moon has slipped to no earlier than 2026.  Hah!  At this rate, it’ll be more like 2036!  What a bunch of incompetent bastards.  The Chinese will land there long before we return.  It’s embarrassing.

Galaxies on a collision course. The large spiral galaxy gravitational force is absorbing the smaller galaxy mass and literally swallowing it.  :o Bon a petit, I guess.  ;D

Speaking of Starships, Starship has once again been stacked for testing.

Looks cool.  Can’t wait to see this baby make orbit.

Okay, Starship has since been dismounted.  In the meantime here’s a pic of a Raptor 2 engine test fire, capable of 230 tons of thrust at sea-level.

Originally this defunct Disneyland attraction was called Flight to the Moon. First time I went to Disneyland was back in 1966 when I was 10 years old and this was so sci-fi. In later years, it became Flight to Mars ride since we had landed men on the Moon. The attraction was sponsored by TWA or Trans World Airlines which was owned by Howard Hughes. You can tell it was a long time ago since TWA doesn't exist anymore and Howard Hughes has been dead since the Bicentennial year of 1976.  :P

I’m gonna say that this thread should focus on real outer space stuff, where possible, Sol.  Maybe look up or start a sci-fi thread for Star Wars stuff?

The title says Anything Outer Space but, since this is your thread, I'll respect that and stay with the real stuff. Sorry for disturbing your Karma.  :P

Thanks.  My intention was for stuff to be posted that wasn’t fictional.  I’ll ask Salem to change the thread name.

I’m sorry, Sol, this isn’t a satellite, but a Soyuz Spacecraft.

That would make for such a great barbecue grill at my next tailgate party!

Despite some of its fatal flaws, it's still one of my favorite spaceships.
