Back in December 21-27 of 1968, Apollo 8 was the first manned spacecraft to circumnavigate the Moon and I'll always remember when mission specialist Bill Anders took the iconic Earthrise photo. To this day, Apollo 8 crew Frank Borman, Bill Anders and James Lovell remain the humans who have traveled farthest from Earth. That was 54 years ago when I was 12 years old. How time flies.

That's the problem with "science via meme" - incomplete information!

It's supposed to say:

"When you're looking at the Sagittarius constellation you're actually looking into the center of our galaxy."

Related fact:

Sagittarius the Archer is diametrically opposite from the constellation Gemini the Twins.

The two major stars in Gemini are Castor and Pollux.

In the 1997 movie Face/Off, directed by John Woo, John Travolta plays Sean Archer and Nicolas Cage plays Castor Troy. Pollux Troy is his brother.

I was talking about Taurus the bull, mister smarty pants.  The symbol for taurus is a circle with horns.  If you go around the circle you will come back to where you started, unless you get stuck in a horn.
