Thanks to rtpoe for this one:

"An asteroid impact simulator.

Set the parameters - asteroid type (iron, stone, carbon, ice, or even gold), impact angle, velocity, and location - then see how much destruction you can cause.

A continuously-burning set of nuclear explosions? Makes sense that it would be hella loud!

Apollo 11 landing site taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.  One can even make out foot trails.

I remember that so well, I was 12 going to 13 years of age then. It was so exciting and as my dad said at the time, R.I.P, we beat the damn Russians. :)

Yeah, Charon doesn’t orbit Pluto, per se, rather both planets orbit a point in space between them.

Not a pleasant place.  :(

True, but that thing about 42 years of darkness is not really the reason it’s unpleasant.  Temps average around -353 degrees Fahrenheit and there’s no solid surface.  Wind speeds run from 90 to 360mph.

A day on your anus Uranus is only 17 hours and 14 minutes, but the constellations spin 90 degrees from those on Earth (or any other planet in the solar system, I think) because someone knocked Uranus on its side a long time ago.

The scale of the Sun is almost impossible to truly relate to.  Check out this solar prominence from back in 2010 compared to the size of Earth.

The Verge, 12 January 2023: "NASA’s James Webb telescope discovers its first Earth-sized exoplanet"
LHS 475 b is a rocky exoplanet roughly the same size as Earth that orbits very close to a small, dim star. And for the first time, researchers are able to study the planet’s atmosphere.
