I need to go to outer space.  ;D
Too bad they shrink right back down once they return to earth's gravitational pull :)

Well, if you go to **82** and lay flat on your bed, after a few hours you will also grow taller a little bit since your vertebrae are not getting compressed like when you are standing.

Ship 24 was the first Starship launched aboard the Super Heavy booster.  But, there are many more in the works…

Apollo 11 Command capsule Columbia. Re-entry is a pretty rough event. Here it is in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the world's most visited museum.  :)

I love the NASM.  I used to go down there, as teen, with my mom, and as soon as we could drive my friends and I would go.  Hadn’t been there for years until a few years back I took Charade and the damn thing was being refurbished.  We could only see a handful of exhibits.  We’ll go back in a year or two methinks.  Awesome place.

Here are some of the many earth like planets discovered by means of space based instruments the US and other's have in outer space. The Earth is also shown for comparison.

Yikes.  Some of these are so big it must be hard to move on those bodies.

They are considered earth like because they are in the "Goldie Locks" zone of the star they orbit where it is neither too hot or too cold so the planet has liquid water and carbon base life could emerge. Now what that life would look like is anyone's guess.  But since life on earth began in the oceans my guess most life on hi-gravity worlds would reside there. Any land base animals would live close to the ground and be heavily muscled to move about, so possibly no birds. Plants would also have to adapt to the high gravity, so possibly no tall trees either. :-\

For the record: 1° Kelvin is equal to - 457.87° Fahrenheit. Now that is DAMN COLD!
(Absolute zero is where all molecular motion stops and that occurs at a temperature of 0° Kelvin, or -273.15° Celsius, or -460° Fahrenheit.)

From 1959, the first and original Astronauts of the USA, Project Mercury Astronauts from left to right in the back, Alan Shepard, Gus Grissom and Gordon Cooper. From left to right in the front, Wally Schirra, Deke Slayton, John Glenn and Scott Carpenter. Shepard would be the first American in Space and the only one of the Mercury program to go to the Moon on Apollo 14.
