See, what I don’t understand is how can these renders look so fantastic, and yet, when AI tries to render normal humans it doesn’t have a clue as to how many fingers are on a human hand or it will occasionally shove in another mystery limb or make limbs look too slender sometimes.  Irises are often screwed up, too.

So, are these AI pieces that we’ve been posting here worked in photoshop by a human to make them flawless like this?

I've been hanging out in a couple of discords where a lot of AI art is posted, and what I've picked up here and there it's a synergy between the AI and the artist feeding in the info to create them, then the artist changes the info to get closer to what he wanted, and at the end he cleans up the AI created art in some kind of graphics program.  So what we're seeing isn't 100% AI created, but a kind of gestalt between AI and artist.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, AI can be a powerful tool but it is far from perfect. A case in point was the response I posted earlier here from dylgiorno to a question I asked him about his Jessica Rabbit creation, which I posted here earlier. Eventually AI will get better in creating works of art, writing, and so on, but I think whatever AI does produce, it will most always need to be checked by a human.

Still from what I've seen whatever AI does produce it is damn amazing, even if does need human help.

Found this tribute to Raquel on DA today by PinceladaHermosa. 

She played everything from a transsexual in "Myra Breckenridge", to a cave woman in "One Million Years BC"  to a miniaturized medical assistant in "Fantastic Voyage",  to a wife out to avenge her husband's murder in the western "Hannie Caulder" and went on to win the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, for her role as 'Constance de Bonacieux' in 1973's "The Three Musketeers", and these are only a small part of her long career in movies and television. Raquel might have had the bombshell look of a sex-symbol which got her though the door, but it was her talent as an actress that got her the part. She will be missed by her fans, which includes me!

Since my last couple of posts featured actresses here is one in a series produced by uncleanart (https://www.deviantart.com/uncleanart). The thing is I was drawn to it because she reminds me of someone, perhaps an actress from like the late 60's or 70's, but for the life of me I can't figure out exactly who.   Perhaps it's her bust that's throwing me off  . Still I really like it.
