Was gonna but this in the Cars You’d Like To Know thread, but found that it doesn’t exist.  Not sure if it’s just photoshop for the heck of it or if it’s done to show what the company eventually hoped to achieve.  It’s called a Bentley Tesonaso—a custom one-off for a client based on a 1955 chassis Bentley S1. The bonnet (hood) would be stretched over three feet and the driving position basic placed in the back seat to fit a 1400hp Rolls Royce V12 engine from a vintage Merlin airplane.  I don’t believe the build ever really took place, but I found it on a design website, so I think it was someone’s hope to do it at some point.

Considering the cars I have seen with airplane engines like that, it's certainly possible to do.  Be hard to see the road in that one, though.  The few I've seen have no roof and the driver's position is higher.

I'd be really interested in seeing how they thought they'd make those wheels work at highway speeds.  I've driven a forklift with them, and you certainly couldn't go any faster than forklift speeds.  It'd be neat seeing a street car moving straight sideways, or in circles in it's own radius, though.

Zeltango does great art and I like how his fantasy cars are inspired by real cars. Looking at the hubcaps, the front bumper and the tailfins, it looks like he borrowed from a 1952-1954 Cadillac ElDorado. You have hit a motherlode of a gold mine, Shadowmuse.
