Nobody/nothing: I was experimenting with a new post and wanted to delete it, but found that I was not allowed to delete a thread that I had started  :( 8)

Made the same experience!
Depending on the POV, mine got at least moved by a moderator (salem).

I think however, one could ask to remove the post/thread from a moderator, if it is virgin (only one post present).
What will happen, if already another user has answered, is beyond my knowledge.
