A good friend of mine in an adjacent state told me yesterday that her weekly income is the worst in five years. Business at her club is just way off.  Friends of hers who are dancers in her mid-size college town had been traveling farther, to other clubs, and finally a flock of them just gave up and moved.
Then I recalled that two clubs recently closed in the largest city near me -- one of them very upscale. So I thought I'd ask everyone for a report.
I suppose it's the current economy. What's your perception of club business these days?

I'm no expert- I haven't actually been to strip club in years. But the last time I went, business seemed to be very slow, and the girls all seemed to be a lot more desperate. At the time, I got the sense that it was related to the fact that people can get the same experience with an online performer. It's another thing the Internet has killed/ severely wounded.

Haven't been to a local strip club in years.  There used to be 3 in the county, now there is one and it doesn't open until 5, pretty indicative of failings.

I live in the Mobile AL area

One club I used to go to because they had features at least once a month, all the pics I have posted were taken there has been closed for going on 20 years now,  Another that I went to  fairly often which was part of chain. Sammy's that I had not been to in a good 10 years, when I happened to be in that part of town and drove by maybe 4 or 5 years ago was closed and looked like it had been for a while

One left on Airport BLVD that was always very "hole in the wall" I rarely went to and not for 15 or more years still looks to be open when you drive by it but who really knows
