bra-fit event for women
« on: August 14, 2003, 10:20:10 PM »
News flash: From August 17-23 JC Penney will be holding Bra-Fit events in its stores nationwide. Women across the country are invited to visit their local JCPenney store for expert measurement and consultation in a private, discrete setting by one of the nearly 8,000 JCPenney Certified Fit Specialists nationwide. The goal is to provide tips and knowledge about bras and the key to finding the perfect fit.

The article also states that 8 out of 10 women wear the wrong size bra.

Visit www.jcpenney for local JCPenney stores and operating hours.

I thought it might be interesting to hear accounts from girls that visit here, of their visit to JCPenney. If some of you guys can get pics also that would be great!

this sounds interesting. sometimes different bra manufacturers seem to size differently; has anyone else noticed this?

Bra manufacturers messing around with sizings is so well known that even a fair few blokes know about it.

I have a sneaky suspicion that they do it for the same reason that supermarkets keep moving products around.

Oh yeah they do it as a marketing ploy depending on what sort of women they are marketing for. If they want their gear to be seen on slim (stick insect type girls) then they make the measurements a little larger thus although you may think you fit in a size 38-DD, their bras, which fit you will claim that you are in fact a 34-C. Similarly if they want more curvacious women seen with their bras, they do not mind and in fact love the thrill of seeing larger figures. My 38-DD in some places are 42-E and sometimes even an F. I personally find it flattering sometimes.
