Wow, thanks for that 'In the rain' pic Captain_Boobeye. it is simply exquisite. Like a work of art. By the way, for whoever asked, her official website FAQ's states:

:: Are you married?
Not married and no [censored]. Not that I don't want to.. I do!
(Ha! I do....see) but I just haven't met him yet.

She also says:  :: How do you stay in such great shape?
Lots of walks! I've been working out all my life and I like to stay active. My routine changes but weights is my main formula and HOT yoga. I also eat organic food at home and keep in mind to eat more veggies. You, too...veggies are the cancer fighting foods.

So she's a health nut,has always worked out and apparantely she's pretty picky and hasn't found Mr. Right yet and hopefully not gay! That would be very devastating to me to find that out. lol

Wshhh!(sigh of relief) I'm glad to hear that some lucky dog once got her to tie the knot. I'll take your word for that Switcher. You always seem to be well researched. Not that I'm a big advocate of marriage these days, because I'm not. Can you imagine though how may guys proposed to this lady or at least made an effort to?

The guy that was engaged to her was supposedly a total douche who took all of the wealth she accumulated from modeling and almost ruined her financially.

I'm guessing she isn't really interested in the idea of marriage anymore. Nothing wrong with living in sin though. It probably makes life a lot less complicated.

It isn't like she would be considering starting a family in her 40's anyway. That is probably one of the reasons she has been able to maintain her looks this long.

I'd like to correct SwitcherX

Petra was never married.  She had been engaged to be married in the 2000 time frame (or thereabouts).  She learned how huge a mistake it was to be engaged to that specific person that she had been to.

The information on him being an oppressive person, and cashing her checks for himself (without her knowledge), the lawsuit which he brought against her and which he lost (and cost her a goodly amount in defending herself), and all the rest is fairly "on the money."

He had bought her an engagement ring, and soon after declared bankruptcy (so he wouldn't have to make the payments).  She no longer has the ring.  If memory serves, she had made comments in the past on her website discussion group that she doesn't remember what happened to it.  (And she really isn't bothered in not recalling.)

The whole episode really tattooed her emotionally, and she did lose weight at the time, etc.

She may be in a much better place, now.  But these things take a while in the healing process.

Over the years there have been a few iconic photos starting with the Marilyn centerfold - Petra qualifies for one or two as well - this is about the most memorable beach shot ever (& it has been morphed a zillion times as well)

All sad news. I confess to being small minded -- I naturally jump to the conclusion that beautiful and successful women have perfect, purely happy lives. Yes, I am a bigot for beauty, but this philosophical mindset was started by the ancient Greeks, who equated inside and outside beauty.

Now, on the other hand -- you know what? I love Petra all the more for being real and having the same life problems we all do. Or, well -- her problems do sound a fair bit worse.

May we all agree to bitch slap her evil ex?

Don't mean to be too kinky, but this thread has put me on a mission to find and collect her photos. I am amazed at what is out there, and she is far hotter now than she ever was in her initial PB shoots.

You won't find anything of that nature on her.  That's not Petra's style.

Remember when Petra was the starter for a drag race in the movie “The Last Road”. That would be a race I would lose. No reason to leave the starting line when you are looking at this.
