Reading upthread, I wonder if -- were she alive today -- if Marilyn Monroe would have availed herself of plastic surgery. Or Rita Hayworth, or a great favorite of mine, Carole Lombard. Or any of the other greats of cinema history, before cosmetic surgical techniques caught up with ambition.

That is, I don't understand why women who are universally acknowledged as drop-dead gorgeous feel a need to "improve"? We're all insecure, in many ways, but amidst complete approval of one's physical self . . . why then try to go one better?

I know I'm preaching to the choir. All I can say is:

Yes, but that was forced on her by Harry Cohn at Columbia. Charming man. As distinct from changes urged by others, I meant to question the apparent physical insecurities of women who are judged by all to be phenomenally attractive as-is.

But I got us off-topic. Let's get back to her former magnificent breasts?  I've read elsewhere that at their peak they were D, DD or DDD.

I recently watched the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'Pen Pals' from the second season and it features in it, yes, Nikki Cox in what must have been one of her first roles. (She also had a small part (one line) in the blockbuster Terminator 2). It's funny though, even though she plays an alien and is under heavy make-up, you can still tell that it is her.

This is what Hollywood can do to a person. She was on 3 different TV shows and not until the last one which was Las Vegas on NBC did she change. Don't know if it was by plastic surgery or personal habits or as I believe a little of both. During one of the breaks from the TV show's seasons (2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th) she got skinnier and hit breasts got smaller in just a couple of months. Eventually she was written out of the show being in 87 of 106 episodes. Who knows why, but the job she played on the show was shortly replace by a younger cuter model. So after all she did too fit that skinny, anorexic look (which I think is nasty) ended her acting career, it seems. Their was nothing wrong with her appearance, she was a beautiful sexy woman, but Hollywood killed that.

So, according to the Daily Mail newspaper, Jay Mohr, has been separated from Nikki Cox since December. It was also reported that he was worried about his young son Meredith, who he believes is suffering from Nikki Cox's drug and mental problems. He is filing for sole custody. He states that depsite still staying in the same house, his son Meredith would not see his mother for two days at a time. I personally would be more worried that naming my son Meredith would lead to a lifetime of beatings, but there you go.
