This triggered a memory from long ago. 1978/79, to be exact.
I was in university, reading someone else's National Lampoon. There was a photo of a 4x4 with rather large (both in height and especially width) off-roading tires. It looked like the owner was pumping up the tires from one of those compressed air hoses from a garage. The intentionally inaccurate caption read something like, "Bob earns the Moron of the Year award, when he accidentally inflates his tires to 10,500 psi."
