Excellent list Goldeneye... I agree that most of the women you've mentioned are sexy, though I feel some are simply, rather than strangely sexy.

I too am a Constance Zimmer fan... having such an appealing, understatedly attractive woman in a show is the ONLY thing that's ever gotten me to watch that show and so many other bad sitcoms, dramas, etc... Cripes, the only reason I watch Becker reruns (aside from the fact that the only alternatives that early in the AM are infomercials, and of course my persistent insomnia) is to see the two brunettes on the show... the one who runs the coffee shop, and the younger bustier one who is Becker's ditzy assistant. Being able to watch the two of them in knit tops (especially the assistant) is the only saving grace of that unfunny (and otherwise unentertaining) show.

I'll add to the list the brunette actress who plays the daughter on that NBC? sitcom staring John Laroquette and Christine Baranski... it's pretty bad too. You know the daughter... she has a funny voice, short hair and also does commercials for Glad garbage bags and plastic wrap. I've already mentioned that IMHO Baranski is a handsome and appealing woman (as is Greg's mother on 'Dharma and Greg') ...neither is my personal ideal 'older woman' (for that, I'd have to specify Mimi Rogers ) but both are easy on the eyes and appealing in their own way and I enjoy seeing them.

Speaking of older women (in this case, the better part of TWICE my age) I saw Barbara Walters on Conan the other night. Now, don't get me wrong... I dislike the superficial, fawning, **29** obsessed prattle that passes for journalism on most (all recent) Barbara Walters Specials, but she herself is in pretty good form for a woman who, I assume, is comfortably past 60. Yes, I'm sure 'flawless, firm and fit' would be the last words that came to mind if I were to see her naked, but those words aren't prerequisite for sex appeal IMHO. If I were some pushing-70 hubby with a bottle full of Viagra, I'd be pretty damn grateful to have a wife who looked liked Ms. Walters (or Diane Keaton, or Christine Baranski, etc...) instead of the alternatives.

One time during one of my last school breaks when I was watching The View, they made the very egregious choice of shooting an outdoor location segment on the same soft videocameras they tape the studio scenes with.  It was a very informal interview with Barbara and someone I can't remember at a patio table of some restaurant.  The soft cameras and natural lighting were VERY telling....she looked about twenty or thirty years older than the makeup and studio lighting would have us believe.

There's no question that Barbara Walters gets plenty of diffusion on the lens and diffused lighting. In fact, the only Barbara that gets MORE of those would be Streisand. She looked older on Conan than she does on her own specials (or to a lesser extent, the View)... but Conan looked like himself so Barbara was shot as he is... it's a given that they were both wearing lots of makeup regardless. Still, if I were a dirty old man (or should I say a dirtier older man ) I'd be happy to wrap various bits of BabaWawa around my pharmecutically-enhanced member. The fact that those various bits would likely be imperfect would surely be moot.

Yes, but I think that is exactly it. She is attractive, and yet ordinary, (making her maybe quite approachable, maybe?) She'd be your own little secret. I have so-o-o-o-o wanted to post in this thread, but every time I tried to bring a name to mind, all my thoughts about sexually magnetic women went to women who now lead private lives and seem to want to keep it that way. The only woman I can think of who is still a public figure who hasn't been mentioned is Selma Hayek, whose sexual magnetism was apparent to me before I noticed that she has a fantastic (for H-wood) rack.

I just want to say one more thing about this topic. As women age, they get more open about their sexual feelings (men, too, I guess). A few years ago I was having a candid discussion with a woman I had known in all kinds of ways forty years ago. I mentioned a guy of our mutual acquaintance. She laughed and said, "Oh, yeah. The minute I met him I knew we were gonna wind up in bed."

So, they feel it, too.

The lady who played the socially status conscious Kitty Montgomery was Susan Sullivan, who is now a regular on the ABC TV show Castle.

Love her, especially when she plays characters that seem like they are kind of high-class, but who really have a hidden earthy, wild side to them. 'Kitty' was like that, and so is her 'Martha' on Castle.

Funny how tastes can change over time.  Reading this over, I see I wasn't a Nancy Pelosi fan -- but I'm totally into her now.  Maybe it's that whole "power as ultimate aphrodisiac" trip.

I have a true odd one for here: MARTHA RADDATZ.  She's a TV journalist and I'm not sure why I dig her, she has a somewhat pouchy-slouchy face and the blonde hair doesn't win me.  Maybe I just like how relatively sane she sounds.  Sanity goes far for me these days.

(Susan Sullivan isn't that strange to me at all -- I have powerful memories of her as the would-be sugar mama to Jeff Conaway back on "Taxi.")

I'd have thought her just past 50 actually, but it's hard to tell. Even with the Euro-underarms and the stern expression (reminds me of Toni Kessering in that respect) she's still appealing... nothing strange about her sexiness to me, but to others I think perhaps, thus my inclusion of her in this thread.

This subject is also just plain sexy imo, but some audience members might find enough fault with her (yet still be drawn to that frankly-quite-epic rack) to agree that she belongs in this thread. For whatever reason, I LIKE the odd hair thing she's got going on there and though unmadeup and squinty, I think her face is as cute as a button. And yes, those flesh balloons are such that I'd probably still dig her if she were Ernest Borgnine's twin sister.
