...that Blondie has a nice set of breasts?

Most comic books are filled with buxom babes, but I can't think of any other "mainstream" comic with a large-busted female character. OK, maybe Miss Buxley from Beetle Bailey.

Now if only Blondie weren't happily married for almost 70 years....

In that comic "Baby Blues" they sometimes draw females with slightly bigger boobs, but not like blondie though

Believe me, I've noticed! Blondie always looks like she's gonna bust out of her shirt. And her daughter, Cookie, is just as big.

So how come Dagwood spends so much of his time **83** on the couch??

The mom in Bill Keane's FAMILY CIRCUS comic strip definately sports a larger than average rack.

I remember that about 4 - 5 years ago Keane drew her a bit bustier but he then changed her hairstyle, updated her wardrobe and seemingly reduced her boobs. The mom character is still pretty curvy for a mainstream strip.

Yep, Blondie seems more like your average Marvel or DC super heroine bust-wise. And she can cook!

I seem to recall that Brena Starr was fairly busty in a 70s-80s Vogue sort of way. Can't think of any others right off the top of my head.

From my research into this very story, about Keane slowing growing the mom over time, and in this recollection happen "about 4 - 5 years ago", would be ending around 1997 - does, in fact, align with the various times the mom expanded in the strip. You can see the slow growth starting a point A and then falling back to near her lowest volume. The actual testing if anyone would notice happened from points 3 to 5 and is the stretch of time when the artist was actively increasing her bust as a test if the editors would catch on or comment. They never did. The son of the original artist took over the strip at point 8.
