I tend to become famous for geek accomplishments...
I read ordinary books and newspapers when I was three.
Second place in a nationwide news quiz competition between junior high schoolers... my mother keeps a photo of me with the queen at the award ceremony...
... and I scored the highest possible result on the Swedish SATs as well, which pretty much ensured eternal geekhood in the eyes of my classmates...
I'm the official world champion in a vector movement-based podracing minature game which is so obscure that it doesn't even have a name, after a statistically nearly impossible streak of luck with the dice.
Other than that? The literal translation of a popular Swedish term for personal accounts of fame by proxy is "I met Lassie". I know a guy who knew John Grisham before he became famous. My sister's best friend's sister was a hottie teen actress who all my friends had a crush on back in high school... (well OK I did too... playing cool answering the phone when she called looking for her sister proved challenging... I was 13, what can I say)
