Hello!
I know my Gallery has been open for a few days, but I thought Labor Day Weekend would be a good time for the "opening party."
So, welcome to all. Please enjoy the 20 morphs (plus one bit of whimsy that's not part of the Official Canon) currently on display. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Why "Discount Morphs?" Well, I'm only using the cheap graphics software that came with my computer. I can't see paying big bucks for a top-of-the-line garphics program that I wouldn't use for anything else. Also, I'm using a second-hand monitor that is incapable of better than 640x480 resolution, so a good graphics program would be rather pointless anyway
My name? "rtpoe" is an acronym for a pseudonym that I use in a completely different context. The "t" stands for "the", so if you need to abbreviate it, just use "r" (keep it lowercase, please).
I started morphing about two years ago. A Yahoo! BE club offered a challenge/contest to do a morph for July 4th. After seeing the work here in the UG, I thought I'd give it a try. rtpoe001 was the result. I got a positive response, so I did some more.
Eventually, I was the only person posting to that club, so I got tired and packed it in. Then Yahoo got conservative and screwed up the clubs; as far as I can tell that club no longer exists.
After a hiatus, and a brief unsettled period in my real life, I am now leeching of my housemate's DSL connection. It seemed the right time to get back into the fun. I contacted Imaginos, who helped me set up this gallery (Thanks!).
So, here I am! And it's great to be here, with all the fine people I've come to know in my "lurking". Thanks to all of you (I won't bore you by naming all the names).
I can promise that I will try to update the gallery on a regular basis - probably monthly. I have a decent amount of morphs in reserve (you didn't think I posted everything I have, did you?) in case I don't get the time to do some new ones over the course of a month.
Oh, I'd appreciate any comments you may have. I'd especially like help properly identifying models.
