New StudioZ Animation
« on: February 03, 2002, 07:26:00 PM »
Not sure if this should be in General or User Gallery, anyway,

Posted SZ_Video_FSNOP2_GwenTeaser
(Fashion Show Number One Part II Gwen Teaser)
at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/studioz1000
DivX and MOV (Sorenson 3 codec) versions included

I did not include an intro or a credits screen in the animation but feel I should at least provide;
Walk Motion-based on catwalk2.bvh from House of Moves.
Other mods and motions by StudioZ.
Soundtrack-Nirvana (StudioZ mix)
Produced in Poser4/Post production in UleadMediaStudioPro6

Tech Data;
DivX/640x360/2803Kb/18secs/(not to compressed, so a little large for what it is, just looked a lot better without compression)
MOV/640x360/1662Kb/18secs/(although smaller, I could not get the MOV version to play at full size without it having a lot of jerky motion (maybe on a MAC it will be ok?), but it plays ok at  ½ size on my PC)

All files are HJsplit to >900Kb to help with yahoo groups frequent download truncations.  My understanding is that Chunkjoiner can be used by the MAC users to rejoin files (even if split on a PC with HJsplit).  HJsplit, HJjoin, and Chunkjoiner are all in the files\utilites section if you need them.

I know anything Yahoo can be a total pain in the ass, if anyone has trouble downloading
you can email me at [email protected] and I can send the file direct.  But please, give yahoo a few
tries first (I am still a 56k'er).

And, as always, comments & critiques are most welcome.

Very nice. Makes my stuff look bad.

Nice motion in the breasts.

How long did it take to render?

I rendered a 20 sec scene and it took over 12 hours with the lighting it was taking 2h for every 20 frames.

Truly amazing work! I would never attempt that kind of complex motion with Poser. Oh, I've tried… The results? Well, they would have been fine if I were trying to animate a seizure…

Come on everyone! Respond to this thread before it gets moved to the updates forum where threads go to die.

However, this briefcase is now protected by Age Verification system. It's useless to say, that there are a lot of BEA adult visitors, who don't have any CC (or don't have an opportunity to have it), as also that there are a lot of not-adult BEA visitors, who have CCs or stolen numbers of CCs, and who can enter anythere using them. I don't understand the reason to protect Yahoo briefcases by this mode.

I just checked the site, and it's just a Yahoo age verification page.

"You've reached an Age-Restricted Area of Yahoo! Groups. You must be over the age of 18 to access this area of Yahoo! Groups."

It's just a 'please dont sue us if we let you view erotica page.'

It doesnt cost you anything, unlike the 'real' AdultCheck protected sites.

StudioZ,

Beautiful, simply beautiful.

Everything is just right: the light is mysterious yet revealing, the transitions between scenes poetically done, the music tantalizes...

Despite all of that, her huge, resilient breasts and sexy ass move so realistically that I end up forgetting all of the asthetics and simply enjoying the unobstructed view of her super-stacked, sultry body.

Thank you.

For myself, I tried the catwalk2.bvh file with my Vicky2-based Milena, and the result was poor (I envy you your expertise with Posette). Trying again, I bought wolf359's BVH package from Renderosity, but it didn't work well either, I think because my Milena's legs are extended. So I've just been playing with manually-posed animations, having fun and learning from your g1test.avi, but don't have anything worthy to post yet.

Please keep making and sharing your wonderful movies. They inspire and tantalize, holding out the promise of what can be achieved with playful dreams and focused effort.

miasma, just wanted to say I really like your stuff.  Just read your post that another animation will be ready shortly, I can't wait, mass BE !  I know what you mean about render time.  Of course depends on your computer.  I have 800Mhz 128meg ram.  If three characters about 2hrs/30 frames average.  FSNOP2_GwenTeaser is actually five files spliced together in Ulead, and being that it is a single character, no more than about two hours to render any single file.

Rocketeer, I have thoroughly enjoyed the two animations I have seen you create (do you have others?).  I think I read that you do not like Poser for animation.  I kind of agree, it has some definate limitations.  I have somehow managed to get it to do way more than I ever expected or intended.  But I do like the magnent deformers, as they make breast motion and/or expansion pretty simple (my whole point of starting to play with animation).  What do you prefer to use ? and can we maybe look forward to a BE seizure animation ?(actually there may be some possiblities there !(would that then be a BEizure?)).

shadowcom, I have had the geniuses at yahoo shutdown three briefcases in the last six months.  One for the original studioz1000 briefcase, and two others that I just used for myself.  Yahoo has never  responded why, I have only ever gotten a stock answer of  'read the terms of agreement'.  So when I setup studioz1000 in the groups format I thought it best to put it in an adult category where only above 18 is supposed to have access to it, just to be on the safe side, and hopefully it will not get shutdown.  To my knowledge (and as stated by Capn Jack) there is no adult verification system that you need to signup for.  I think the only thing is that when you setup a yahoo account you must check a box on the signup page that states you are over 18.

(gee, I thought that I already posted a reply here...)

Beautiful work, however, only the Christmas morning and testvid (g1 and g2) mov's will play, the others either come up with a broken quicktime movie icon or not at all (including the new Gwen mov). I'm running QT 5.0.2 on a Mac and would like to see your other newer stuff. Any advice appreciated... your work is fantastic!

Ricky Java,

Thanks for the compliments.  Besides your great artwork, you certainly have a mastery of language when expressing your comments.  Have you ever written any stories ?

To bad the motion files are not working for you yet.  You might try this;
Before importing a motion make sure all IK is turned off and the character is well above ground level.  If IK is on all the bending will change when the character hits ground level.

Palomine,

Not sure what the problem could be.  I tested all videos on my PC (also using QT 5.0.2) and they do play.  There are two major differences between the videos you can play and those that do not;

1)   They are split with hjsplit
2)   They include an audio track

Would you like me to email you the shorter of the two (FSNOP2_GwenTeaser/1662KB) unsplit ?  If it plays, that would at least identify the problem as something
in splitting the file, if it does not play, then it is probably something occurring when I convert from DivX to MOV (although it would not specifically rule out a splitting problem).  How would you like to proceed ?

To Capn Jack: It's strange. I really was able to enter inside of this briefcase only with help of "NetHack" Software. Every time, then I press "Yes, I accept" button, the system offers to indicate the number of my CC and other private information.

Very nice animations StudioZ.  I really liked Christmas Morning, since it has BE.  The motion of the girls on the catwalk is very nice too, as many have pointed out.

I did have one problem when downloading the movies though.  The first file in the series, for those that you split, did not download with a .001 extension.  So HJSplit would not pick them up in order to join them back together.  Both files that should have had a .001 extension downloaded as simply .AVI.  All other files downloaded correctly.  It was only the first file in each series.  However, the easy fix is simply to add a .001 at the end of the file when you download it.  Right Click - Save Target - Add .001 to the end (don't overwrite the .AVI) - Click Save.

Hey, StudioZ,

Finally got a chance to download your new movies (and glad that you used hjsplit on them -- Yahoo groups have always been a pain in the neck to download files larger than 2 megs, at least for me....)  What can I really say except, unbelievable!  You really do have a knack for those animations.

As a side note, I also had some trouble joining the split AVI files b/c of the .001 extension problem, but had no trouble with joining the MOV files.

Thanks again!
