OMG!  I remember that picture from the back of a dvd case.  I remember going to Best Buy all the time and looking for it in the "special interest" section.  It was the first time I'd seen breasts that size and from that moment, I was hooked.

I understand and apologize for the violation, but I'm curious about how you found out that one of the subjects was too young, so I can avoid this problem in the future. Was it a famous picture (or rather series of pictures) or something? I found the picture on another forum which didn't mention anything of the sort, and both looked of age (to me). Honest mistake. I guess I should just avoid posting any picture that doesn't look at least 25.

That's probably not a bad idea.  

The girl on the right in the photo looks much younger than 18, and the photo (which probably originated on my*space, though I haven't checked) has been posted here and removed by moderators several times.  We judge girls' ages by appearance rather than actual age, because it's just about impossible to find out the actual age of anybody on the web.  For more information, please see the Forum Rules.

If you have any doubts about pictures you'd like to post in the future, feel free to contact any moderator before posting to ask if a picture is ok.

Purely on the basis of apparent age, it would probably be ok (though other mods might not agree).  However, I'm pretty sure the photo originated on my*space, so any slice of it would still be prohibited here.

Hi, this is Palomine, one of gonZo's colleagues. I'm afraid that I can't answer your question because I didn't see the original image before it was removed, but if the other subject was clearly of age then yes, cropping out the younger-looking subject would have made the image ok to post here. Again: since it's not practical to identify with certainty the age of any subject in an image, we err on the side of caution to avoid liability. Thus, when you are forming an opinion about a subjects age in order to decide to post here, please remember that your idea of what looks 18 might still seem iffy/borderline to other users (and non-user visitors: the forum is open to the entire unregistered public) so, if you'll feel better using your own idea of what looks '25' as a minimum, that's one way to avoid differences of opinion and future possible issues.

Thanks for being understanding about this... the BEA Owner is very particular about underag3/borderline content and rightly so. Your help in keeping our forums healthy is appreciated.

Thanks to both of you for answering my questions, and I'm sorry to bug you guys. I was just a little taken aback that something so subjective puts me one step from being banned. Again, I completely understand why you guys must be quick on the trigger and the value of being safe versus sorry, so I think I'm just going to cease posting candids for the rest of my time here

 Well, in most cases we offer warnings for violations before banning unless their are prior violations, such as has happened here. If you'd received as many unpleasant threatening cease-and-desist letters as the Owner has, you'd probably insist on a very cautious policy too, especially when it comes to subjective yet risky material.

Just err on the side of caution like we do and you'll be fine. If you're still not sure, feel free to PM any mod and ask for a 2nd opinion before you post.
