I have a question.  I was discussing the possibilities of string implants with my girlfriend.  She has wanted implants for a while and was receptive to the idea.  

Now I hear they are not available??? Is this true?  I know a doctor in Houston who no longer provides them but I thought his decision was isolated.  

Also, what are the negative affects I have seen comments regarding on the user/members gallery?  Sable has problems?  What about Chelsea?

Be very, very careful in choosing a surgeon because many are not the most qualified, including the one in Houston who invented string implants - search the archives of  www.houstonpress.com  to see how Dr. Johnson moved his assets overseas and failed his plastic surgery board exam.  And he's actually better than most noncertified plastic surgeons (real certification, not phoney) bewcause he did a real plastic surgery residency.

Curious, what problems are these?

Never was into implants but I'd like to know what these ladies problems are (apart from having knockers that blot out the sun).

For starters I belive they're next to impossible to remove. They become very intertwined with the persons body.

AH I think I begin to see. Nasty. I have a very good imagination and I just had a flash of the inside of a boob and the fatty tissue clumped all around the implant...yes indeed a problem to remove, you would almost give the poor dear a mastectomy in getting it out, cos it would pull a lot of the tissue with it.

You know I thought that there was nothing worse than a barbed spear head, seems to me that string implants have just beaten that.
