I watched a part of the "making of" featurette on the DVD about Selma Blair's rack (only part of the featurette I watched, imagine that   ) and she and others talked about how she would just walk around with them, because she felt like she was wearing a sweater with all that makeup. Pretty popular with the teamsters and crew folk apparently. I can just imagine myself being annoyed if she passed me on the set because I'd know they were totally fake...they're not even implant fake!

a collage of screencaps from the latest John Waters flick "A Dirty Shame" - Selma Blair wears these enormous fake breasts (although they are "real" in the movie) and they look very realistic (if breasts that big can look realistic)... but the movie is great, alot of one fantastic one liners, LOTS of sexual humor etc... a good rental...

I bought the DVD Selmas part in the movie is small. The movie is about Tracy Ulmans character. Selma and the rest of them are just along for her ride. But that said you do get to see them "naked" and they do shrink and grow in another scene.

It's not a "small" part.  She is one of the major characters, around whom the plot revolves.  She
doesn’t have a ton of screen time, but as Tracy Ullman's over-inflated daughter, who uses the
stage name “Ursula Udders”, she is one of the principle reasons the "neuters" have become so
militant.

She has enough screen time in the prosthetics to be memorable (or is that mammorable?), and to
make it worth viewing.  

More interesting, however, is the commentary and bonus featurette, which both have some
interesting revelations about the prosthetic applications.  For instance, John Waters delights in
revealing that multiple sets of each of three types of them had to be ordered for use in the film–a
cheap set for use under clothes (which IMHO was the sexiest), a medium grade set for cleavage-
type shots, and the high grade money-makers for the topless scenes.

It was funny stuff, seeing that on screen, but as I remarked awhile ago, the effect would have been
far more enjoyable had the crew put water balloons or jello in the prosthetics to make them move
some.  As it is, it looks pretty cheesy, like a Halloween costume or something.

The version I rented said "Neutered Version" on the cover and had Selma Blair's fake boobs hidden behind other people on the cover.  I've seen a cover on the internet that shows the fake boobs on the cover.

Has any one seen both versions?  What are the differences?

I bought the "un-neutered" version.  I imagine that the difference is probably between a soft and a hard R or even NC-17.  Keep in mind, this is no kiddie flick--there are scenes of guys f*cking tree knots that look like vaginas.  I imagine that's not in the "neuter" version.

yeah the directors cut or whatever it is, is much better. i took lots of screencaps since I rented it (I had forgot it was in my netflix queue, so it arrived by surprise) and didnt buy it. i will try to put together some more collages this week for you guys who dont have the movie.
