Anyway.......I'm feeling mellow right now....

Moon river wider than a mile
I’m crossing you in style someday
You dream maker, you heartbreaker
Wherever you’re going I’m going your way
Two drifters off to see the world
There’s such a lot of world to see
We’re after the same rainbows end
Waiting round the band
My huckleberry friend, moon river
And me.

Well, it's a marvelous night for a Moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow...

Van Morrison, Moondance

I've, er, been having a bad night. Sorry. This really isn't like me at all:

"Li'l Red Riding Hood" by Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs

(spoken) Who's that I see walkin' in these woods?
Why, it's Little Red Riding Hood.

(sung) Hey there, Little Red Riding Hood,
You sure are looking good,
You're everything that a big bad wolf could want.

(spoken) Listen to me.

(sung) Little Red Riding Hood,
I don't think that big girls should
Go walking in these spooky old woods alone.
What big eyes you have,
The kind of eyes that drive wolves mad.
So just
To see
That you don't get chased,
I think I ought
To walk
With you for a wa-ays.

What full lips you have.
They're sure to lure
Someone bad.
So until
You get
To Grandma's place,
I think you ought
To walk
With me and be sa-afe.

I'm gonna keep my sheep suit on
Until I'm sure
That you've been shown
That I can be trusted
Walking with you alone.
Little Red Riding Hood,
I'd like to hold you if I could
But you might think I'm a big bad wolf so I won't.

What a big heart I have,
The better to love you with.
Little Red Riding Hood,
Even bad wolves can be goo-ood
I'll try to be satisfied
Just to walk close by your side
Maybe
You'll see things my way
Before
We get
To Grandma's pla-ace.

Little Red Riding Hood,
You sure are looking good,
You're everything that a big bad wolf could want.

Chronic, isn't it "You're an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill" not gross recluse? Just curious!

And Galvatron, that's the perfect strangers theme song, isn't it? Or am I wrong...

For movies, I know it's more than a line, but I love this speechish thing:

"Do I lie to myself to be happy?
In your case, Teddy... yes, I will.

I have to believe in the world outside my own mind. I have to believe that my actions still have meaning, even if I can't remember them. I have to believe that when my eyes are closed, the world's still there.

But do I? Do I believe the world's still there?
Is it still out there?!

Yes."

And for lyrics the white stripes take the cake:
When you're in your little room, and you're working on something good
But if it's really good, you're gonna need a bigger room
And when you're in your bigger room, you might not know what to do
You might have to think back how you got started, sitting in your little room

and alice in chains:
I've eaten the sun but my tongue has been burned of the taste

You may be right. It's been a while since I saw it last. In any case, the scenes with Kurtz are some of the best monologue material I have ever heard. The first time I saw that movie, his character just blew my doors off.

I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply, and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet, you are a plague, and we are the cure.

O yeah! I forgot about the movie filled with the coolest lines ever!

We were near Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

We can't stop here! This is bat country!

I want you to throw it in, when the rabbit bites it's own head off

I am Ahab!

Let's get down to brass tacks, man. How much for the ape?
